Pleasantly surprised by this place. We showed up on a late Saturday afternoon to find happy hour prices! What a great way to try drinks and appatizers...and we did. The food was wonderful. The hanging man was great but not enough for two lu j...More

We went here on Sunday night to try out Flammkuchen. The taste brought back memories of when I'd been in Germany years ago. Great ambience - highly recommend it.

I saw this on "Check Please Arizona" a Channel 8 local special. It sounded good but we, as a party of three, sat for nearly 45 minutes waiting for a table and finally the table we got was vacant the entire time. No one else...More

This jewel of a place is underutilized. The decor is fabulous and the food is tres magnifique! Delicious crepes - the caramel apple dessert crepe was to die for! Diana had a cheese crepe and I had the black angus steak which is seared at...More

The Flammenkuchens are very tasty, and work great as an appetizer to split between 2 people. These are the equivalent of a French thin-crust pizza; the dough is more like pie-shell pastry. We enjoyed the one with blue cheese, walnuts and pears. The wine list...More

We enjoyed the crepes, had them for dinner and dessert. I'm creped out! This place is nice for special dinners. There is so many choices on Bell, I'd hate to be a restaurant owner there. No complaints from our family!

I gave it 1star because the service was good. We went to Comedy night. We ordered crepe desserts. Crepes are supposed to be lightly browned, light & fluffy. We got undercooked, hard & doughy. TERRIBLE. The comics were worse than the food. I recommend you...More

I am sorry you had a unpleasant evening. However the fact I am clueless I need to understand what you were expecting because your descriptions confuse me. Unfortunately, Gordon Ramsey or Robert Irvine won’t be coming to explain it to me. Your description of the...More

The lunch special for $7.99 was a joke. One leathery dark brown bitter buck wheat 'crepe' about six inches round, with a salty dollop of melted cheese and ham cubes. Oh, and a glass of soda is included. Being greeted with 'Bonjour' was at best...More

I am sorry that you didn't appreciate my restaurant. I don't really see why my restaurant is "pretentious" because it represent a casual restaurant you will find in the Swiss Alps or French Alps. All the food in our menu is the food I was...More

Description
The creation of Le Chalet was much like our fondue.  Yes, we are a little “cheesy!”  But, much like a good fondue, we have melted the talents and abilities of all our staff to bring about only the best for our customers.                   Alain, who attended the American Musical Dramatic Academy in New York, has a broad background in Broadway.  Performing shows, such as La Cage aux Folles and Cabaret, he desires to bring only the best entertainment to Le Chalet’s stage.  His aspiration for Le Chalet is the entertainment of NY, similar to that of Don’t Tell Mama or Duplex.  Alain, who has performed as Cookie Monster, Count Von Count, and Telly Monster, loves children as well; so bring them into Le Chalet for an autograph!  His experience in the restaurant business began as a starving actor.  In need for more income, he has worked at Laurent and Maxim’s, which is owned by designer Pierre Cardin.  Alain has “performed” as a personal butler for celebrities at the Sony Club as well.          Even the décor of Le Chalet has been a melting of personalities.  From authentic French posters and French street signs to the hand painted mural, painted by Alain’s nephew, every look was created by the staff.  Step inside, and you have entered a little European village.  An overhang of the bar to look like a chalet is located near a mountain ice-caped stage.   So, ski (or snowboard) on by and stop in for a bite to eat….but, do watch out for the cows located throughout Le Chalet!
