We've sorted out the rebel calamari & gleaned only the sophisticated, to attend this dish. On top, our intellectually appealing calamari, underneath lies fresh baby spring greens w/ balsamic & lemon garlic vinaigrette. We conduct rigorous interviews w/ New Zealand squid of which only few will pass & meet our standards. Comes w/ crusty bread
Spicy Chicken Salad
Crispy chicken tenderloins dripping w/ hot buffalo wing sauce & loads of spring greens w/ fresh watercress, chili roasted walnuts, cilantro fruit salsa, crumbles of blue cheese & on the side some crusty La Brea wheat bread.
Newly created for the 21st century, from deep within the Asylum Research & Development Facility. Coveted by all employee's. We start w/ spring mix salad, topped w/ avocado. Then comes a lean patty of beef, caramelized onions, minced garlic, mushrooms, tomatoes & balsamic dressing drizzled all about. Topped w/ crumbled blue cheese & alfafa sprouts.
Julienne Pastrami Salad
Set on romaine lettuce w/ shredded parmesan cheese, tomatoes, cucumbers, black olives, alfafa sprouts & drizzled w/ balsamic-ranch dressing. Comes w/ crusty bread

We were looking forward to this meal for months. We booked when we set up the trip. We heard that the food was some of the best in Arizona and the views were fantastic. I would say that the food was good and for the...More
One of the best dinners I’ve ever had. It started with creamy butternut squash soup, then steamed Alaskan king crab legs with mashed potatoes. Very rich meal with great wine & service. Prices were reasonable too.

I would give this place 5 stars, if it didn't take 3 times. What I mean is, we arrived Friday night for our anniversary. The hostess was a bit lippy when stating we didn't have reservations. Long story short, we'r did have reservations but they...More
I wish I good give this place zero stars. This was my wife and I - 30th wedding anniversary present, something she had wanted to do for a long time. Now, ruined. Terrible customer service by the hostess. By the way, if the manager wants...More
Had a fabulous dinner at the restaurant the night before. Great food and service and management oversight. Tonight they brought the b team in. While our waiter was personable, service was painfully slow even though the restaurant was at 50% capacity. An hour after ordering,...More
It took some doing to get here but completely worth it. The view is spectacular. Butternut squash soup was amazing and the cheese steak sandwich was really good. I wasn’t keen on the chocolate mousse cake, it was too dense for mousse to me. I...More
We ventured to Jerome during our weekend in Sedona. Lunch at The Asylum Restaurant hit the spot. Service was great, food was delicious, and staff was super helpful and eager to share the history of the hotel with us. Definitely recommend!
First of all the menu prices need to be updated. When we arrive to this historic location we were looking forward to eating at this restaurant which look great. Outside of the fact that we waited for over two minutes to even be acknowledged by...More
Have eaten there many times. Always excellent. Going through the old asylum is an experience in itself. It's haunted, you know. Great wines. Perfect steaks! We live half the year in Sedona and half the year in Texas. We... More
