I have often eaten at Koi, I enjoy their variety of food and their presentation is stunning. They have sushi as well and make their own pasta. They are very busy so one should book in advance. There are lovely place to pop into after your meal that are in the same centre. The service is very good and waiters are... More

I always enjoy my meals at Koi, i kind of stick to the usual things, new style sashimi, duck and sushi. They never disappoint. The dim sum is okay, but not i find it overrated. Overall the food is good, maybe slightly pricey, but certainly the duck and new style sashimi provide good value for the money you spend

Enjoyable evening with family at Koi Rosebank. Food is delicious, albeit very small portions. Salted green bean snack starter is great! Service a tad questionable and we incurred two incorrect orders. Had the ribs for mains, which was a superb meal, but not nearly enough for a male patron. Enjoyed!

Koi remains my favourite in Johannesburg for quality food with an Indonesian/Asian flavour. The is a lovely safe space to sit outside, and the interior is lovely and modern. The crispy calamari starter is always a winner, as are the Asian fries. The sashimi platter they prepared for me today was incredible! The service by Charlie was great.

From what i have heard about Koi I must say I went in with pretty high expectations for the sushi. I was NOT disappointed. We started off with some dim sum which was near perfect, really flavourful and good balance between the filling and the dumpling. In general the menu is expensive. The service was ok, our waiter looked like... More

Koi still has the very best sushi in town! The service is always efficient and professional! The food is always sublime and quick to the table! They always are willling to accommodate us with our kids even though it is largely a restaurant for adults!

We ordered the crispy beef and it was all crisp and no beef. Told the manager and he apologized . Though we were still billed for the uneaten, un-edible meal.

Level of service is poor, and lacking in attentiveness. Dim sum was average, but the sushi was surprisingly bad and grossly overpriced, looked very amateur, all the pieces were different sizes, falling apart, rice was underdone, amongst other gripes. There are MUCH better places to go in the area

This is a surefire all rounder that never fails to impress with creativity, talent and the knack to always make you feel like the most important guest on their agenda for the day ! I'm not sure if it's pure luck but I cannot remember having ever had a problem here ! Frequented by tourists and locals alike they tantalize... More

Wow! We had a gorgeous mix from starters to sushi and every single dish was amazing. Combined with a supercute and friendly service... Almost perfect!
