Voodoo lily is almost a hidden gem. They have a great breakfast menu with lots of banging options and even a couple of things on the menu for your dog... The service was friendly and the overall atmosphere really relaxed. I ordered the eggs benedict, the only thing wrong was that I'd asked for my eggs to be medium and... More

I was 45-minutes early for a meeting nearby and was searching Zomata for Cafe spot, to have a quick bite and Coffee. But spotted the Cafe as driving past. Looked inviting from the outside, most inviting was the pavement seating. Into people watching, so my kind of spot. Was surprised to find Sushi on the Menu and Cold Pressed Juice.... More

Always go there for a breakfast after along walk round the block and read my newspaper there.. Like sitting outside. Inside is a bit dull and noisy. Staff are friendly . A lovely local joint for coffee and light snacks

This suburban eatery claims to also have a deli. A few packets of coffee & other bits does not a deli make! My dining partner & I both at Hake with avo & salad which was good. Wine by the glass is uninspired. Might be better during the day.

Hi Dine Frequently Thanks for yourreview. Yes, our Deli is somewhat depleted - this is a conscious decision as we are doing away with it - soon we will remove the signs associated with this. I'm so glad you enjoyed out hake with avo and salad - its one of our most popular dish's. Our house wine are not award... More

Visited for their 'as much as you can eat' sushi special on Mondays and Tuesdays but have now explored the rest their menu. Away from the big squares and malls full of eateries, this is a quiet but very pleasant location, just up the road from the Wanderers cricket ground.

I found this deli/cafe/bakery when I received a newsletter for "best ice creams" in Johannesburg. The website looked interesting and I was excited to experience fresh baked bread and great deli-type food. It was all just a mediocre experience- loud inappropriate music, unattentive staff and quite bare deli shelves and no bread! I will definitely not go back - what... More

Hi Belia Thank you for your review and I am sorry you did not enjoy your experience at our restaurant. The tasty, fresh food, good service and excellent coffee make this another of our favourite places. Our tip is to sit outside as inside gets a bit noisy from the open kitchen. There are loads of low carb options but the carb lovers are not neglected. Our son declared the sushi to be some of the best he has had!... More
