We had 18 people eat at the "buffet" and it was one of the worst meals any of us have ever consumed. R300+ per head for rubbery sirloin and indeterminate chicken that wouldn't be out of place in a hospital cafeteria.

x2 Tables booked 1 month in advance & confirmation done within the week. When we got here we waited for 2 hours because they "missed" the booking? Service was horrible - We didn't have a waiter literally for the whole night! Menu had only 3 food options The food was horrible, this hotel counts for the worst experience ever.

We were at the hotel for three nights, and enjoyed breakfast and dinner each day of our stay. The buffet breakfast was extensive, with quite a variety of tropical fruits and juices, as well as eggs, sausage, mushrooms, bacon. The coffee was excellent and the staff couldn't be. Ore attentive. We dined on the terrace two nights when the weather... More

This was our first visit to this restaurant and we were immediately impressed by the layout and decor. The menu, while not extensive, offered a good variety of dishes but without vegetarian options for main course. This could probably be arranged when you book though. My wife had the Yellowtail in beer batter and pronounced it to be superb! I... More

We ate at Sel et Poivre during our meetings and workshops being held at Quatermain. The food was good. The lamb was my favourite. The service is efficient and we left here satisfied. The restaurant staff are friendly and quick and we always foresee ourselves coming back for more workshops at this hotel because of the service received during our... More

Have eaten here many times and am never disappointed. The chef does a wonderful job. Love most of the dishes but my absolute fave is the ostrich! Always cooked to perfection. The restaurant staff is extremely helpful and the epitome of professional. Will always come back!

We waited over 30 minutes for a table while the restaurant was empty. Our table cloth was dirty, no cutlery or serviettes. Slow service. Not a great experience.

Having looked forward so much to dine at this restaurant for a long time, what was our utter disappointment to experience it at last. Only four tables occupied, we actually had to ask for menus. The rest of the service was slow, not particularly friendly. Food was mediocre (in spite of "award-winning chef" Coco Reinharz) and the wine list overly... More

Food was good and staff were friendly. Restaurant was a bit quiet but a good evening out. We would go back again as menu has some interesting options

Even on a quiet Sunday the restaurant struggled to provide a satisfactory experience. The food was a disappointment, although the menu looked amazing the food did not live up expectation - my main course arrived with a thick skin on the sauce, a clear indication it had been sitting under the heat lamps for a whole - which when there...
