I am surprised at all the positive reviews here - we did not have a great experience. The food was tasteless and served blandly. We will not be back.

We had great German meals for Sunday lunch. This is traditional German cuisine at its best. We had grilled pork belly, Schweinsbraten and Nurnberger Schaefle. The portions are generous. The service was friendly and efficient. Note: the restaurant moved from The Willows to Menlo Park, the phone number on the various dining websites is incorrect!

They have moved to new premises at 64 13th St, Menlo Park, Pretoria. Nothing has changed... It is still the best German restaurant in Pretoria, no doubts.

Call the place “Sour Kraut Canteen” The approach of the owner/management was one of indifferent unfriendliness. This was reflected by the attitude displayed by the aged, dour waitress that should have retired a long time ago. The waiters lingered about like headless chickens during the hour we spent in the “canteen.” Seven different staff members came to our table, from... More

What a find! I discovered Eisbein & Co. by accident on a recent Saturday. Took advantage of their special (Eisbein, Sauerkraut and mashed potatoes) and was mentally transported back to Germany. Food was fantastic, portion was too large to finish so I took some home, and service was friendly, quick, and efficient. Will definitely go back and work my way... More

The best Eisbein I've ever had... Ronald has always been the German food guru with achievements to prove it. Their new venue in Menlo park is even more cozy than the old one in Willows. We visit this restaurant on a regular basis and can never get enough of it. One must try his whole menu, of which my favorites... More

Lovely authentic German food and a variety of beer. Very friendly staff, be sure to book in advance. The Eisbein is delicious.

We were there for a quick dinner as the guys felt like eisbein and what a better place than a German restaurant. The service was okay but can be improved with making you feel welcome and that they enjoy working there... The bread prior to dinner was not baked in the past 3 days but the eisbeins were huge and...
