Fumo in Groenkloof is the perfect restuarent choice. My family has eaten at Fumo a number of times and have not been disappointed. The only drawback is that it does not open on Sundays. It is otherwise one of my favoutite restuarents.

I was recommended by a friend that if I miss Italian food, I must go to Fumo. It is considered the best Italian restaurant in Pretoria. I missed the squid ink spaghetti that I had in Venice, and so I went there. The spaghetti is made from cuttlefish but the sauce is bolognese. It tastes so weird. However, the services... More

Above Cafe 41 in Groenkloof square, Fumo is never packed. Quiet and atmospheric, is a lovely to go for a date. Lighting in the middle calls for a successful selfie with your date/hubby. Their starters are glorious with their pretzels and ciabatta with olive oil and balsamic sauce. Try their squid ink/octopus pasta (not on the menu) and their pizza... More

As always, Fumo's does not disappoint. By far the best Pizza in Pretoria. Absolutely brilliant. Beats any other fine dining Italian restaurant.

One of the best restaurants ever in terms of the quality of the food and the service. A great place to go with a woman that you want to impress. Great wine!

We visited on a Saturday evening. Service was very attentive and the three courses we each had were all good, some excellent. However, this was tempered by the excessive wine pricing (a glass cost roughly what a bottle would cost in a bottle store) and the pretty steep food prices. meal for two with a couple of glasses each of... The restaurant has an absolutely fantastic ambience. Very friendly welcome. We were looking forward to a fabulous evening out. From then on, every time we wanted something, we had to look for service - bearing in mind the restaurant had only about 6 tables occupied, so they were not at all busy. The food was a real disappointment overall -... More

This is an upper class establishment - fine dining. You know it is a good restaurant if a lot of local italians go there. The service was very good and the food well prepared, tasty and well presented. Whilst it is a bit more expensive the portions sizes are large and you don't go home hungry.
