We had coffee there. Must be the worst service in town. Took them more than 15 minutes to bring my bill!! But no wonder since the manager and the waiters are having fun times around the pc at reception with no regard for their patrons. Just pathetic.

Went for lunch to Karoo Cafe for the first time on the 3rd May. with a friend. After studying the menu my friend said she would have the Fusion Chicken ...I could not make up my mind and I don't like chicken but after reading the description on the menu I decided to try it ...Lime marinated chicken with a... Unique country/farm restaurant. Feels like you are somewhere out of town. Especially great for breakfasts. Their poppy seed pap muffin's with chakalaka and their crispy bacon are the best.

I've never been one to pull punches in my reviews, but I have no reason to either throw or pull punches after my first visit to the Karoo Cafe. We went for lunch with my wife's mother and ancient grandmother. So a fairly quiet setting was required. We took along out three naughty kids, so a hell of a test...... More

Three of us arrived for lunch and seated ourselves...no problem. The staff were friendly and fairly efficient. The food however is whole different story. This is also not my first visit to Karoo Cafe, where the food was dismal. With a previous visit, it took so long to rectify the poorly prepped food that I decided, I won't even bother... More

I went to the Karoo Cafe with a friend for a catch up breakfast a few weeks ago. It was a very rainy morning and it was an absolutely beautiful setting for this type of weather. The food was really tasty and the coffee was divine. There is so much to look at in terms of the décor, art and... More

Had breakfast here today and what a refreshing place to visit. Big spacious and appropriate interior. The food was excellent. Ask for the pumpkin fritter breakfast, you will be pleasantly surprised. The coffee is very good as well.

Karoo Cafe hides in plain sight in Lynnwood Road just off the N1 hiway. We enjoyed a very satisfactory platter for two and some really good coffee. The boutique furniture, pottery, nursery and second-hand bookshop is quaint and the experience was all roung pleasant. Can't wait to go back to test their other fare.

What a nice place. I just stopped for a unplanned breakfast and was pleasantly surprised. If you are a fan of "skilpadjies" or pap or roosterkoek.... this is the place. I like a simple breakfast which thet supplied with a smile. Staff all looks like they want to be at work. Love the place, will be back.
