Brought my husband back a couple of times, everything was good with our food. I think we all had steaks. Service was good. Nice and airy looking over pitches, easy parking. Must go back. They probably should up their marketing.

Harlequin Barakas is the best value for money eatery in Pretoria. Choose formal, casual or simply a Pub style night out and you will find it all here under one roof

We went there with a crowd of people. Luckily we were told about the steaks and were not disappointed. The steak was decent sized and very well cooked. Also had rarer cuts like prime rib and fillet on the bone (as special when ewe were there). Wine list is very good and reasonably priced Well recommended!

Lovely place, classic decor with a nice layout. Booked the pvt room for family and friends. Great service with excellent food to price ratio. Best pork belly in Pretoria. Loved the wine list as well. Well worth the try.

My family and I visited this lovely restaurant on New Year's Eve. I had the Camembert and my husband the snails for starters. Both were good but the snails were insanely delicious- I would go so far as to say the best snails I have ever had. The mains were also not disappointing. For dessert I had the panna cotta... More

Intimate restaurant with delicious food. Whether you sit on the inside or outside, the ambience is cosy and relaxed. Although the pub is right next door, the noise does not encroach into the restaurant.

We had a reservation for 18h30 and was right on time. We started with a Red wine and decided not to take a starter. We ordered 3 half deboned baby chickens Portuguese style with chips. 1 line fish of the day and 1 Chicken schnitzel. We waited quite a while and luckily had wine left to have with the meal.... More

This is a friendly restaurant and the fire burning in the fire place added a nice touch. Good food and good service. All the dishes was well presented. I had the pear and blue cheese salad and rib eye steak with marrow bones. I will go back for both.

We went to The Harlequin not really knowing what to expect as the restaurant was unknown to us. We were pleasantly surprised. The food was very good, the wine list representing a very good selection that is reasonably priced and the service prompt. A pleasant surprise very well worth a visit. We will be back!
