Waited over 30minutes for a milkshake and cup of coffee in an empty restaurant. Waited another 20 minutes for our food

The coffee shop is the only place to eat casually. The food was old, cold and very poor. The bad service does not help.
Very historical, the atmosphere is great and the coffee is great. A perfect interruption during a long conference! :)

The coffee shop is well placed in the city centre close to museums, theatres and shops. The staff are very welcoming and efficient. The menu includes a selection of long cold refreshing fruit drinks and the cakes are indulgent.
We use to frequent this place after shows at the playhouse and on Saturday evenings -when service delivery and ambience were the cornerstone of this grand hotel .Of recent , I can't say the same -I have been unimpressed .
We enjoyed a light meal, very pleasant atmosphere and friendly staff. We found the seating (soft couch) at some tables extremly comfortable.
Super decor, but dreadful service. Had to seek out a waitress and then seek out the coffee order 25 minutes later only to be told "I will do it just now". Not acceptable
