Wonderful antiques, collectables and goodies to buy. Fantastic ambience and great food. A Victorian setting with the most beautiful garden at the back - a real oasis in the centre of Pietermaritzburg!

I love going Rosehurst! It's a great place to meet up with friends! A Christmas treat, I had the Mince Pie Milkshake - heavenly - and the Christmas Ticky Scone - a toasted chocolate scone with chocolate and fruit mince ganache, delicious! The Apple and Stilton soup was divine as always and the staff are just the best!

The shop is full of fascinating things to buy and the restaurant overlooks this really peaceful little garden at the back. We decided to share our lunch so we started with seed toast and... More

My Mum and I popped in for a coffee, and shared THE most delicious chocolate and nougat brownie. Peaceful, beautiful surroundings, quaint shops and magnificent antiques and collectibles. A must do in Pietermaritzburg.

Enjoyed our time having tea in the garden. The gardens are exquisitely kept. The cake was lovely and unusual. We had been here previously where the food was nice and unusual but portions were a bit small. This time was better. The shop was eclectic and cool if you enjoy shopping for unusual trinkets.

You will never guess this little gem exists in the hustle of town. As you enter the doors it's like a little wonder shop with each room of the old house filled with surprising and wonderful stuff. The journey gets even better as you enter the court yard greeting the most beautiful garden. Very tranquil environment a must to experience... More
