This is the best place to eat sushi...its R9 a single piece or R29 for the green plate which has to be ordered. you get a chance to try a variety of sushi....our waitress was excellent. she heard us mention that there weren't enough prawn plates on the belt and got the chef to add extra plates. they also have... This is my sisters preferred sushi spot - location is definitely not the attraction ! And the concept of one piece of sushi per plate is not one I've seen in Joburg .. we went on a Saturday night and it was very quiet, may have been because of rugby - service was good and the belt had regular additions.... Fair variety of good, fresh sushi. Very pleasant casual atmosphere. Prices reasonable. Centrally situated in Umhlanga Rocks.

They are currently running a ladies night special where ladies pay R125 instead of the usual R185 on Thursdays. All you can eat sushi, meaning you can eat anything that comes out on the conveyor belt. Starters and dessert included. Value for money.

We use to love Bamboo Sushi lounge as it use to be exceptional value for money. Now it's over priced, stodgy and just average. To top it off, they automatically add a 10% service charge to your bill - all they do is seat you and serve a drink - the rest is self serve buffet Sushi.

Absolutely shocking. Came for the buffet but firstly they understaffed. Secondly the staffs attitudes are shocking. The buffet allows one to order anything off the buffet menu. We tried to order but the waitress told us we had to grab off the belt. The belt has one piece of sushi per a plate instead of four. The belt also only... More

Great sushi. Half price sushi and a lovely eat as much as you can buffet from 5pm. Had a lovely special on the combos. Great place for sushi lovers who doesn't want to break the bank.

Had been there 4 times this month, generous portions, wish the buffet ran earlier in the day. VEG sushi took long on a single occasion but owner made amends.

They increased the price to just under R200 for the eat as much as you can buffet. The sushi is great, fresh ingredients and large variety. I stuffed my face and had green tea ice cream after. Looks like it will stay one of my favourite places to eat! Give it a try you wont be disappointed!
