We came for dinner one night and had a great time! No menus, you select your meal from an unprepared refrigerated section and they take it out and prepare it once selected. Super fresh and really fun!

We were recommended the place by a local and we loved it. There is no menu, it is like a fish market, so you choose the fish and seafood and the prepare it with some rice, potatos and vegetables. The price is given by the weight of the pieces you take and advise to you beforehand, so no surprises when... More

The Codfather Seafood & Suchi is an interesting restaurant. It's rare to see so much seafood in one place. We visited the restaurant on January 1 and it took us almost one hr to get to the restaurant from Camps Bay. The restaurant was really crowded, but despite this the service was nice. I was less impressed by the food... More

This fabulous place is a must visit if you are in the area. A stunning array of delicious fresh fish, fabulous wine list and great service. I have read a few bad reviews and can only assume that they had an off night. I have been going to this destaurant for nearly a decade and they have never missed. As... More

Went here for dinner last night and was HUGELY disappointed. Service was fine throughout our meal, but food was WAY below average for Cape Town, especially for the prices you're paying. There are amazing places in Camps Bay that are much more worth it. The sushi was not authentic and did not taste good at all. Sashimi was very roughly... More

Yet another seafood restaurant we visited for dinner on our travels. Not fine dining by any means but good shellfish and wet fish selections to be had.... Very cramped table layout and unusual way of not having a menu but choosing what you want by having to get up and go and look at the uncooked fish. Overpriced without doubt... More

The strength of this place is good fresh seafood. No complaints there. The concept of choosing the fish from a display is a good one, though personally I would like to see more imagination with the accompaniment. If you enjoy your food fresh and simple, this may be the place for you. If you are looking for inspirational South African... More

This is a no nonsense restaurant but what they are doing, they're doing well. A small but good selection of very fresh fish and a sushi bar. You get the choose your fish which they will prepare very tasty. I really liked the Sole. It has a crunchy skin which is a bit spicy. They also have a very good... More
