We visited this lovely restaurant for dinner with our baby girl. We parked on the side of the road and entered the train restaurant. We were greeted very warmly and given menus. We ordered the green Thai chicken pasta and prawn chaat both were absolutely divine and we enjoyed our meal. The friendly waiter/ manager who served us was also... More

Went there with a voucher that I purchased through Wikideals. I was 1st disappointed when I phoned there to make a reservation and the lady put the phone down to look at her book but then never returned. After I listened to her giving instructions to the waiter and the kitchen I put the phone down. Phoned again much later... More

Visited the train restaurant on a saturday evening at 15:00. The place was really untidy and table i sat at was sticky and dirty. Waited 10 mins for drinks, not good at all. Had cheese burgers, really tasted bland and presentation lacked severly. I would have went to burger king or Mcds and been more happy. Management should really look into refurbishment... More

We stopped here for a late night coffee. The people were welcoming and very friendly and the service was very good. It is a converted train coach so you feel like you're on a train looking out the window while having your meal. Lovely atmosphere. We kept meaning to go back but were unable to. Pity. We loved the place.

Easily accessible and love the train concept. Staff are friendly Menu has a huge variety I found the restaurant to be perfect for any time of day. Later at night can get busy. Parking is limited at times and it is meter parking payable to the guard. Desserts selection are lovely. Great dining option if in Cape Town or Sea... More

5 of us. Unbelievable service from the start. The food... what can one say the Seafood platter for one. The of the group had this. Done to perfection with a price tag to boot. Fillet steak that melts in your mouth. No frills no fuss a must go for all seafood and steak lovers.

We visited The Atlantic Express for Dinner this past Saturday. Ultimately the food was great (even though the Waiter got it all wrong), from adding the incorrect sauce on the Steak to getting the drinks completely wrong.. which was of course rectified. The one thing that really bothered me the most was the space issue. I felt cramped up in... More
