This restaursnt was absolutely wonderful. The food was incredible and very fresh, and there was a great wine selection. The venue and decor are quite hip. It's not on a Main Street so there are not any obnoxious tourists. I would highly recommend it.

The place is nice, a cozy ambiance. Service was perfect, the waiters were kind. We took elan for starter - delicious meat. For main course we took lamb and elan again, both very well. Special mention to the lamb dish, really loved it! The herbs...More

As others have written, this is a casual upscale restaurant with outstanding, unusual food. All was excellent – food, wine, ambiance. I especially liked my thick almond-based gazpacho with grapes frozen (sorbet-like) balls of regular (tomato-based) gazpacho in the middle. Sounds weird, but was delicious....More

We turned up 24hrs early, due to my error. The restaurant we had really booked for the evening was just around the corner, so the Maitre D offered to let us duck through his back door to save the walk and store the wine that...More

They have an inspiring menu full of combinations you might not have thought possible. Best meal I've had in Cape Town by far. It was shockingly cheap for the quality of food we received. Finally, the service was impeccable. Knowledgeable, friendly and confident service from...More

The food is very good, south african cuisine with some french influences. The service is nice and attentive. The place has an industrial feel. Highly recomended. Try the Eland, it's great!

Interesting contemporary industrial, brick, steel and glass decor. We had seats in the balcony which gave us a good view of the restaurant and an opportunity to people watch. Our waiter was very pleasant and helpful My wife started with the Almond gazpacho and I...More

Unassuming exterior hides an amazing restaurant inside. Every dish recommended by the waiter was amazing!

We visited Savoy cabbage for dinner whilst staying in Cape Town. We chose it for its proximity to our hotel (10 min walk) as well as the unusual sounding menu (I had never eaten warthog, zebra, springbok or kudu!) and interesting design. We were very...More

Enjoy creative contemporary cooking in a visually exciting venue. With its historic Table Mountain stone and old brick that dates back to the 18th century, architect Leon Saven's design is complemented by glass, concrete and exposed ducting. Cabbage motif chandeliers and salt dishes, fine table appointments and impeccable service reflect outstanding attention to detail. The menu alters daily, using the freshest local produce and combines unusual flavours to excite the palate of the discerning diner. Free range organic and ethically sourced ingredients. Allergies catered for. A boutique wine list which is very reasonably priced.
