All of the dishes that we tried were excellent including the zebra and warthog. Not able to make reservations online. Had to call. Don't skip dessert

We were looking forward to the meal and were disappointed. The service was great as were the wine recommendations. The only dish that stood out as tasty was the duck liver mousse. The salad and both Fish dishes - one Hake and one Slipjack (?}...More

We had been recommended this restaurant by our guest house. It's in a wonderful building with exposed brick, high ceilings, the 'in' decor of our times. Good service, best bottle of wine I had whilst in Cape Town (at a reasonable price). The only thing...More

It's a nice place and gathers rather formal crowd, we were standing out in our jeans and with a kid. Liver pate appetizer was very good. We decided to go with game meat for main dishes, my wife got warthog and I got blesbok. The...More

The restaurant was a disappointment - The food ranged from ok to not tasty. Very surprising after reading all the great reviews. The decor is old fashioned and needs a lot of love and attention. We definitely will not be going back. The only goos...More

We had another superb meal here. We love the decor almost, but not quite!, as much as the food - bare, exposed brickwork in a central Cape Town location make for an original (it was established fifteen years ago), chic setting. The food is excellent,...More

Savoy Cabbage, despite being one of the most recommended restaurants in Cape Town, has a friendly and laid back atmosphere. The decor is awesome and we had the pleasure of sitting right above the open plan kitchen, allowing us to watch the masters at work....More

Having read about this place I was looking forward to the evening and was not disappointed! Delicious food, good ambiance. Service was excellent. On the advice of a friend I skipped the starter to save room for dessert. And was so glad I did. Divine!

Enjoy creative contemporary cooking in a visually exciting venue. With its historic Table Mountain stone and old brick that dates back to the 18th century, architect Leon Saven's design is complemented by glass, concrete and exposed ducting. Cabbage motif chandeliers and salt dishes, fine table appointments and impeccable service reflect outstanding attention to detail. The menu alters daily, using the freshest local produce and combines unusual flavours to excite the palate of the discerning diner. A boutique wine list which is very reasonably priced.
