The decor is humble and prices are fair. Very good curries and our waiter knew the menu really well. He was able to describe the difference between the different dishes and their ingredients. He was also able to differentiate between the wines that were sold by the glass. The restaurant is on a main road so not always easy to find... More

Had lunch at Jewel of India. We had the Lamb Rogan Josh and Chicken Tikka Masala. The food was not bad , but expected more. The garlic naan was okay, wasn't very tasty as they use the bottled garlic, not fresh bulbs. The service was above average.

I'd call it the Jewel of Summertime. A great place, reminding me of some ancient summers of a lifetime ago. Naborre, Melendez, Shamrock and all those crazy times..... They are gone, bye. But the memory remains, isn't so?! Great food here and some cool service. Cheap prices too.
