Maybe the emphasis was on quantity, not quality as regards the lunch specials that were offered.Huge servings, average presentation and taste. service was also just average. We have been to this establishment before and had Turkish style food which was good. maybe they should stick with what they know!!

We really enjoyed an evening of tasty food in a fun relaxed venue. Portion sizes were huge so we didn't have space for desert. Highly recommended.

Clearly Turkish theme, quite a varied menu. The shimmy belts on the waitrons are a tad bit tacky. The Turkish coffee needs a little more TLC. Otherwise the food was great, we had a variety of meat dishes and curries. The sides were impressive. Desert was limited but had the meringue which was good. Would definitely go back.

Every year when we are in the area we visit this restaurant and are so pleased to find the food and ambiance still merits top marks. The prices and variety on the menu are always so good and wine prices excellent. The belly dancing provided very good entertainment and service was friendly and attentive. The four of us all thoroughly... More

Situated above the well known Van Rensburg butchery in the centre of the town, this restaurant with its authentic ambience lived up to our expectation by offering excellent value for money for their pub lunches!

We visited this restaurant on a Friday night as a party of 11. The place was pretty busy so due to our party size we were placed in a sort of annex, situated a short distance away from the main eating area - to be truthful it could have been warmer. Service could have been more attentive too but I... More

This is a little middle eastern gem in George. Well worth a visit. The food is great and quite authentic. Who would have thought you could have Turkish coffee in George!

We went for dinner without booking and the staff very kindly juggled a few bookings and found a table for us even though they were fully booked. Servings are large, Baklava is divine and bookings are essential. Well worth a visit!
