Ate here by chance during two week touring holiday. We had eaten in several restaurants in Cape Town and more along the garden route. This was, by far, our favourite. So much so that we ate here 3 nights running while we were in Knysna. It has everything; good atmosphere, lovely views with fabulous sunsets over the harbour and mountains,... More

We got the JJs recommended by our guest house. The service is nice and the food really good! Both fish and game platter were delicious. The interior is a bit outdated though

This restaurant was referred to us by our host at a guest house. Booking is essential a few days in advance. A great menu with something for everyone. The Piggies are a starter of scallops, wrapped with bacon with horseradish sauce. Divine. The view of the lagoon at sunset is fantastic.

We followed a recommendation and booked for JJ's, having previously viewed the extensive and impressive menu. It was certainly a popular and lively venue and there was a buzz in the air. The owner did the rounds and made us feel very welcome and it was also a pleasant addition to have the singers drop in later in the evening.... More

We wanted to come to JJ's after having read the reviews on TA and thought it was a must! We tried to book, but there was no availability, but decided to just turn up and fortunately they could fit us in after a 20 mins wait (we got there about 7.45, most diners seem to get there very early). The... More

When the owner comes to greet you at your table and have a chat, you know this is somewhere special. To be honest, it doesn't look much when you first enter, but it's busy and everyone seems to be having fun, so go with it. There's a wide selection of food on the menu and a very decent wine list....
