The restaurant was as romantic as the rooms. An entire evening of courses. Each one fantastic followed by a very fun evening around the boma visiting with other visitors to the resort. This is a one of a kind facility not to be missed.

After the previous rave reviews we extended our holiday by a day to eat here. The food was really uninspiring and expensive even for the area. The cabin was over-heated to an uncomfortable degree and they charge a ridiculous corkage fee of R60. Other visitors on the day shares our sentiments and won't be going back either.

Beautiful setting, wonderful service, a fantastic experience. We want to come back!! There's something very special about dining amongst the trees with the sounds of nature around you. If I had to say what my perfect restaurant experience would be - this would be it!!

From the moment we drove through the gates this was a tranquil haven! When we arrived they picked us up at the gate and took us for lovely drinks with the most breathtaking views over the Knysna river. We enjoyed the 6 course menu at the Boma Restaurant. The food was exceptional - especially the duck. The menu had the... More

One wouldn't expect a restaurant like this in Knysna - located up a hill in the Phantom Forest Eco-Reserve, with a distinct 'African' touch, offering breathtaking views over the Knysna river, and with an incredibly romantic atmosphere; the Boma is different, and the food lives up to the unique and intimate setting. The 6-course menu is expensive but worth the... More

We wanted to try somewhere a little bit different from the waterfront where all the main restaurants are located, and something a little more sophisticated. Boma in this respect does not disappoint. Its location and the intimacy of the restaurant definitely made it a unique dinning experience. The staff were attentive, discreet and very professional. Could be better at interacting... More

This Resturant has a romantic and beautiful setting. The food is good, not top rate, but very tasty and enjoyable! All of these things make for a really enjoyable, romantic dinner.
