Enjoyed fantastic toasted croissants with scrambled egg, bacon and avocado and perfectly spreadable butter. Excellent service from Cait. Great vibe. Will be back soon. A new breakfast favourite.

We had been to the tapas side of the operation during a previous trip to Cape Town. We were impressed with that, so we thought we'd try the more formal restaurant. We thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of the meal. The welcome, atmosphere, service, food and wine were all excellent. We debated whether to have the tasting menu, but decided in... More

Terrific place...lively, bubbly, full of chatter from other guests....and then there's the food....Frank Dangereaux used to work many years ago as the chef at La Colombe....for my money, they lost their prize goose ....he understands food...understated, elegant, but absolutely unctuous ......definitely put this on your Cape Town restaurant list...you definitely won't be disappointed....we come to Cape Town every year and... The simple white building belies the sophistication beckoning within. Pleasant and happy waitrons greeted us and guided us to beautifully decorated table, while all around us the restaurant got filled to capacity on a Tuesday night in this out-of-the-way place called Noordhoek. The food is fantastic as always. The Foodbarn is priced as fine-dining but is a rustic restaurant with... More

It has been a couple of years since we ate here, simply because we live in the Cape Winelands and it is a long drive for us, otherwise this would be a restaurant we would visit regularly. Delicious, beautifully plated dishes. Fine dining at its best, and we certainly have our fair share of excellent restaurants in and around Cape... More

Having been for brunch here on a previous visit, I revisited for dinner with family are friends. Unfortunately we did not have a booking as we originally planned to go elsewhere, but despite the fact that there were 13 of us they managed to squeeze us in at the last minute. The service was great and the food was fantastic.... More

You can truly experience fine dining in a country atmosphere. Their food is fantastic. Make your reservation over the internet - they do require a deposit per person. My advice is pay the deposit and see that you get there - but whatever you do don't miss the experience!

We had excellent food and wine from very attentive and well trained personnel Also for our kids excellent food was prepared and they could then continue playing on the playground allowing us to indulge in the culinary delights. We enjoyed the fresh and super good food and wine. Recommend to book a table in advance

A busy restaurant popular with the locals. May have to wait for a table but well worth the wait. Service can be slow so make sure you are out for a nice relaxed meal of good food. I've eaten there often and never sent a plate back. Produce is fresh and wholesome. Also has wonderful bakery for pies, bread and... More

At the Foodbarn Restaurant, we serve the food that Franck is famous for … delicious and decadent ‘fine-dining’ style food but in a super relaxed and characterful old barn.At the Deli during the day, you are invited into our ‘home-from-home’ by the tantalizing aroma’s of the fresh bread and the best coffee in the Valley, the uber friendly and caring service, chef Joccelyn’s delicious creations, and more.At night the Deli is transformed into a delightful tapas bar serving inspired dishes with amazing textures and flavours.Whichever Foodbarn you are in … we look forward to spoiling you
