A very nice wine farm in the heart of Stellenbosch. Had a 80th birthday here with the whole family. Very nice atmosphere.

This is a novel take on the traditional wine tasting, the addition of excellent and highly appropriate canapes with the four wines, which works exceptionally well. They also have a beer and canapes tasting – with different canapes to the wine and that too was excellent. Coupled with the stunning views, this is a really good experience.
We stayed at the Devon Valley Hotel & enjoyed our breakfast on the Flavours terrace each day. There's plenty form which to choose, fresh fruits, yoghurts, cereals, meats & cheeses, as well as a large selection of traditional hot breakfast items. The staff are wonderful, they remembered our tea / coffee order each day & brought them as soon as... More
Stayed at the hotel and had dinner at Flavours one evening. Like at the hotel the staff at the restaurant were smiling helpful time to chat with the guest and very efficient. Had the buffet and for a buffet it was awesome. Especially the starters and desserts. I am not sure I would go to Flavours if I stayed at... More
We tried the Thursday night curry-buffet. Excellent varieties of tasteful curries, a couple of starters, and desserts. Pizzas from the outdoor wood fire are extremely tastefull. Breakfast buffet very good with a large variety of food and drinks. Very service minded and attentive staff.
Staying in a hotel and eating there as well is something we do not do often. But at this instance, we decided to try the Flavours Restaurant. We were not disappointed. Our meal was a beautifully prepared ostrich fillet and malva pudding for afters. It was a wonderful meal that was thoroughly enjoyed. We will come again.

I must say the restaurant is in a wonderful setting, the dining room has a terrific ambience, the staff are attentive and friendly, the wine list comprehensive. Alas the food did not match up to expectations. My companion had stuffed chicken...the... More
Every year, for the last 9 years, when our Swallow Friends come back from UK we go to the Flavours Restaurant at the Devon Valley Hotel for our first and last meal of their trip. But I think we are done and will be looking for a new venue. The price has risen, but you expect that, and over the... More
This has to be one of the worst lunches I've ever had. We had the braai buffet and the meat was dry and over cooked. It was also completely tasteless. The salads were ok'ish, but nothing worth mentioning. Desert was also very mediocre. Service was slow - all the waiters had to do was take the drinks orders and that... More
