Kukuruku is a garden restaurant. It has a pleasant relaxing environment. There are hammocks and pleasant music. The owners are friendly and welcoming. This is the only restaurant that I know in the area serving traditional Goan cuisine. Dishes such as pork sorbitol and Goan sausages. There is also continental, Chinese and vegetarian food available. All expertly prepared by the... More

We have walked past here many times and not gone in as we had heard of bad experiences. We were recommended by friends to try it and every dish we had was lovely. Cooked to taste (1to 5) beautiful apparently the restaurant has changed hands recently . Just wish we had tried it earlier in the holiday !!

David and his wife are just brilliant restaurateurs , if this place was in London, they would be award winning and deservedly so. If you get the chance you should go and sample as much of their food as you possibly can! The food is out of this world. The only thing that would improve it (and this is an... More

A really nice place to have a quiet meal and enjoy some very nice food. The menu is large and contains many tempting meals, the four of us appreciated what we were served. The place is a little hard to find but worth the effort.

While we were in Arpora for 4 weeks in December 2016 to January 2017 we were spoilt for choice for restaurants but the best was the Kukuruku. It is owned by Pinky and her chef husband David. We were made to feel very welcome here and every detail of our selection of dishes was catered for. The decor especially at... More

We happened upon this place while out for a walk. It is off the main thoroughfare so does not get the 'walk bys' that the other pub/bars do. All the seats are in a garden setting (you may need to cover up against the mosquitos) lit with lights and adorned with tropical trees. It is worth a try and you... More

My partner saw signs for this restaurant and wanted to try it, however when we went past it looked empty, usually not a good sign. I popped in and had a look at the menu which seemed very varied and authentic and the lady proprietor was so welcoming we decided to give it a go. Four of us went for... More
