The Hotel Faena is incredibly gorgeous, even against the backdrop of Puerto Madero. Bistro Sur was an over-the-top evening experience: crazy beautiful and whimsical decor, solicitous and genuinely friendly service, and tasty food. My only complaint is that I wished it could have lasted longer!More

The restaurant has a very specific décor, which may be appealing or not due to your taste. Food was quite good (lamb) and the tango show quite impressive as well. IT was a closed event, so not sure if it is the usual way it...More

When I first saw the pictures of the decor I wasn't convinced this would be the right spot for my partner's 40th birthday dinner on our trip to BA. I'm so glad I didn't go with my gut on this one, what an excellent meal!...More

El Bistro del Fin del Mundo is by far one of the best restaurants I've been to. The experience starts as soon as you step in the restaurant. Hostess and waiters very well prepared to serve a table elegantly. The decoration is simply breathtaking. Don't...More

To be fair, our experience may have been the result of an extraordinarily low capacity night. That said, Micaela Baum offered excellent suggestions for our meal and then suggested wine pairings. These were not standard pairings but included suggestions that complemented the dishes as well...More

The Faena Hotel and its dining/bars are architecturally stunning! We enjoyed a late dinner in the Philippe Starck-designed BISTRO SUR, after attending a philharmonic performance at the Teatro Colon. A wonderful ending to our evening – excellent attentive service, an extensive wine list however the...More

Magical evening for couples. I would not especially bring children here. This is for adults. The menu is not typical either. Come with a open mind and ready for a different experiance in dinning. One you will never forget.

Puerto Madero
From its refurbished red brick buildings and port

hustle and bustle of heavy traffic just blocks away.

Savor a meal worth remembering in one of Argentina's most spectacular settings. Bistro Sur's whimsical Philippe Starck décor will fascinate guests just as much as the delicate menu prepared by Faena's local chef, Rodrigo Vazquez. Modern techniques combined with Argentina's bests seasonal products, give birth to dishes like Beef Carpaccio with Bacon Milk, Mint and Potato Chips or Sweetbreads with Lemon Puree, Grilled Grapes and Pine Nuts.
