We enjoyed the "lomo" (Beef) here. Attentive service, nice atmosphere (we ate inside); outside seating on the street is also available. Good wine list with nice selection of side dishes and dessert. A worthwhile evening.

Shared a starter but shoul have skipped this stage as the steaks were huge. Beautifully cooked and perfect with a bottle of Argentinian malbec ('Animal', unusual brand but extremely good). Had to admit defeat and leave some steak, but really sorry to do so! Really pleasant staff.

This classic bodega is charming and holds to its reputation for old world charm and great food. We went from salads to grilled meats and enjoyed some of Argentinas best wines.

Came upon this one completely by chance as we were heading elsewhere and passed this busy restaurant with the noise of happy diners inside and out obvious for everybody to witness. Managed to get a table on the pavement sheltered by a large plastic protection sheet and had an absolutely fantastic meal. We went for the parilla dishes which are... More

Recommended by our hotel this restaurant did not disappoint . Complimentary champagne followed by a huge delicious steak - regretted having a starter as the steak beat me - probably one of the best steaks ever so my only regret was not being able to finish it . Staff a delight and lovely atmosphere .

My partner and I went to Lo de Jesus for Valentines day. We had a wonderful and what we felt was an authentic Argentine meal. We chose the Bife de Chorizo and the rib eye and the creamed spinach, and tomato and cheese salad. We were glad we didn't get entrées as the steaks were huge, even with the help... More

The food was wonderful as was the service. We ate inside as the night was warm. We could see into the kitchen to watch the BBQ. We experienced three courses and a lovely bottle of wine (suggested by the staff). It was not inexpensive, but well worth the price.

It was a busy weekend. We couldn't find a table elsewhere so we ended up here. The place looks warm and lovely though. We were not that hungry so we ordered cesar salad with crispy chicken and sausages. The chicken was not crispy as expected. Actually it was chewy and a bit bland. Cesar salad was not typical. However the... More

Staying in Palermo

Neighbourhood Profile
Best known as the largest neighbourhood in Buenos Aires, Palermo is divided into different quarters, each with its own unique identity. The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favourite amongst locals. The largest park in the city, the Bosques de Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling. The scene becomes much trendier in Palermo Soho, a hip area known for its cool cafés and unique design stores, filled with shoppers on weekends; and Palermo Hollywood, renowned for the numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which make it the preferred spot for nights out and special occasions.
