We had an awesome dinner with friends at Bruni and saw Fabian "Zorrito " Quintiero for a bit as he came to inspect his restaurant! Excellent burrata carciofi pasta w/chimpirones... Good wine selection and great service!!!

I remember when this place opened several years ago, led by acclaimed local chef Donato De Santis. It used to be a reference point for new age Italian flavors, trendy decor and superior service. However, things have evolved quite for the worse, so much so that the dining experience here can only be rated as significantly below par. The menu... More

So we go to this place because the owner used to own a great place for food in canitas (Soul cafe, which is now closed). We get there, see a few couples, families, and a famous retired model is also there which looks promising. We look at the menu and see promisins appetizers, a variety of sandwiches and burgers, and... More

Nice home-made pasta and fresh salmon. Good and prompt service. We said we were going to a meeting and they really made an effort to serve us in less than 40 minutes. Enjoy your lunch at the sun in one of the table at the sidewalk in front of the park crossing the street. and really fa

Bruni is one of the newest trendy italian food restaurant. Low number of dishes and high quality is the recipe for it´s success. Classic and well executed dishes as grilled polenta with mushrooms and wonderful stews. One of the best italian restaurants in the city. You can combine lunch in this restaurant with a walk in Palermo´s Park. Wonderful combo.

Very popular with locals, the place is serving italian cuisine with a local twist. I´d suggest to stick with that, as an argentine option which I chose was rather disappointing - the asado suggested as daily special had a lot of fat on it and it was pre-boiled before roasting. Wines were excellent though and so was the service.

Staying in Belgrano

Neighbourhood Profile
Belgrano
As one of the main commercial hubs of Buenos Aires, Belgrano has something for everyone. The myriad of shop windows in Cabildo Ave. will draw you in, but it is Chinatown — an area of no more than two square blocks — which will keep you hooked. Crowned by an ornate arch marking its entrance and filled with small stores packed to the brim, it is a place where colour and scent emanate from every corner, particularly during the Chinese New Year when they spill over to surrounding areas. But if you prefer a quieter atmosphere, the residential quarter of Belgrano is the perfect destination. This section of town features some of the most magnificent mansions in the city, spread out on cobbled streets lined by tall, majestic trees: a true feast for the eyes.
