Lovely restaurant with an ample choice of Spanish Vasque dishes, all fresh and very tasty. Went with another couple and had a brilliant time. We left very satisfied with the food and the service.

Food is outstanding, service very friendly and professional, tables are really separated and therefore you can talk without interferences. I strongly recommend fish and seafood dishes.

Skip this! We looked forward to trying seafood at this popular restaurant. To start the bread offered in the table service is mostly packaged crackers and not freshly baked bread. Our waiter brought the wrong order but still added it to the bill. We mentioned...it to the owner when paying and she RUDELY blamed us. She said she would have to pay for the fish we didn’t eat (or order) so instead we would have to pay for it. It got tense and she eventually took it off the bill when she realized we would not be paying for it. The sole a la plancha was bone dry and had absolutely no flavor. We also had the green salsa sea bass which was bland. The red sauce was too sweet and tasted like bottled tomato sauce. We were very disappointed given the hyped ratings. It definitely underdelivered. I don’t know if I would even call it average food for international standards, but certainly way below average by BA standards.More

The lady owner is arrogant, unfriendly and she makes you feel unwelcome. This is an average restaurant and there are many better places in the city. They don’t deserve yr business. But perhaps more important. If you ask for the check signaling that you will...pay cash they will guve you no receipt in exchange for a 15% discount. Bottom line on top of everything they are not paying their taxes. If you are a local citizen and probably fed up at paying taxes. Well, here is an example of why yr taxes are high while others are cheating. Enjoy yr mealMore

I just had lunch at this restaurant! And server was excellent but I ordered a tenderloin medium rare. Simple right! But the beef came out with one medallion medium and the other well done.. I sent it back but they gave it back to me...and said the meat was perfect! OMG not even close.. for their lack of respect for my opinion on how I like my beef the rating is in accordance!More

Extremely popular restaurant, well worth the 20min or so wait we had for a table. The food here is amongst some of the very best we have had and the menu is imaginative and varied. We ordered chicken with green onions and steak with mushroom...sauce, both dishes came with papas frittas and were delicious. We watched a tortilla being delivered to another table and it looked delicious and very substantial. We were given complimentary lemoncello after our meal, which was a nice touch and set us up for the local milonga. Approx 1000 pesos with wine and water.More

Fabulous Basque food. Local friends took me to this restaurant and I had to go back for a second meal. Best meal during my stay in BsAs. The tortilla was unbelievable...yum.

Very good restaurant, particularly for the food, made is a good baske style. The place itself is not very appealing, quite old and not fashinable. Even though these facts, recommend this place for enjoying good fish meals.

Best place in Buenos Aires for lunch or dinner. Fish and seafood are incredible and if you compare quality and price, thIs is the best place you can go! I live in BA, and I know all restaurants, believe me. My husband and I go...there once a week, and we never regret it for the last 15 years. All attendants are great and Susana is superb! Susana is Iñaki’s mom.More

This is written for the traveller to BA, as I am. The restaurant is located in a side street off the main Av de 9th de Julio, about three blocks down. Its not a great street later on but seems ok. The restaurant is smart...looking and is quite large with three dining areas. As the locals eat later here it starts to fill up after nine. Booking is advisable even mid week. The decor is simple enough but tables have linens. There is a good range of dishes to choose from and an English menu is available. Starters are much the same price as mains as they are in much of South America, but can also be substantial. I had the squid piperade, this was a large portion. The squid was as tender as chicken and overall a good choice. The main course was beef, a popular choice in Argentina, although there is a good selection of fish dishes. Vegetables are a tricky area. The beef came with sautéed potatoes, but these were more like fresh fried crisps. No other veg, side salads are available but not say a proper veg dish as we know them. The beef was tender and tasty and came in a rich peppercorn sauce. For a wine country the choice by the glass was blanco or tinto. House wine of mediocre quality. However, there is a large selection of bottles. Service was typically local, good in places and then all goes quiet. Ok for a one off visit.More
