The hotel I stayed at was a few hundred feet away so went initially because of convenience. The incredible scent was alluring upon entering the restaurant. They had this large unique rounded triangular glass smoker that slow-roasted meats. It was heaven to smell the wood...and meat together. The service was exceptional. Suffice it to say the 10 days we were in Buenos Aires we ate there almost nightly. From the mega huge steaks to the forearm sized rib, both easily cut with a fork alone, Argentina's reputation for top-notch beef did not disappoint at all. On top of the superb friendly service and the exceptional quality of food, the price was remarkably very reasonable. Today Facebook sent me one of those "2-year memory" messages. I surely miss this restaurant and without question, and when I return to B.A., I would return again and again to this restaurant. PS: "The date when asked when did I visit" wouldn't let me out in Aug 2018. So I selected the oldest I could.More

We went to this parilla twice. The first time the fillet steak was very good and accurately cooked. We returned two weeks later and had a very different experience. The steak was very overcooked and not as good a cut of meat. It was tough...and dry. We sent it back but were not offered a replacement. The waiter tried to argue with us that it was correctly cooked but was clearly in the wrong (we had previously had many steaks in Argentina without a problem including in this restaurant!). They didn't even remove it from the bill until we refused to pay for it. We left hungry and out of pocket, having paid for drinks and the side orders.More

We went based on reviews on trip advisor. Felt the reviews over sold it a little compared to other venues. Very busy but the waiter found us a table and generally the service and waiting on staff were excellent. The steak was good but not...fantastic as we had hoped.More

Recommended this restaurant by friends who visited twice whilst in BA . Very good choice it is too. Attentive staff with helpful suggestions regarding portion sizes . Extensive choices on menu, excellent rib eye steak, unusual chopped rocket salad. Visual aid for steak cooking available,...very useful indeed but they will cook it again for you if you’re not happy with your choice. Delicious casa flan. Good wine selection. Great value and tasty meal.More

What a find, if you like steak just the place! As well as excellent food and attentive service, we enjoyed the waiting staff dealing with diners who had high expectations but no manners in a delightfully subtle way. For good food and street theatre this...is the place to go.More

Nice restaurant, friendly staff well positioned close to many of the main roads through the centre of BA - but not too close. Good choice on the menu if you are getting fed up with too much beef, but nice cuts of beef if you...are not. We were very comfortable here and open on Sunday, which not all restaurants are.More

Frist impression when we enter is like a 60's restaurant. And all waiters are "grand-papa". We feel a little bit concern when we see the steak on the other tables. It looks just ok. BUT...once we bite...Wow...absolutely one of the best steaks ever in the...world!!!! We also enjoy the melbec there. AND, the "grand-papa" kindly recommends a desert (see my photo). It's like ice cream with nut. Once we bite...Wow...Wow...my wife told me immediately that it's the best desert she ever tried. We do love everything and every people in this restaurant. No doubt about it!!!!More

I went here after a recommendation from the hotel staff. The menu is very meat based and they serve both fine steak dinners and street food type dishes.

Fantastic restaurant and server! Our servers name was Rodolfo and he was always there to get us anything we needed. We 2 steaks with fries that the waiter suggested and both were delicious. Great place with amazing service and reasonable prices too.
