This is a great little spot, so unassuming but it really delivers in quality of food, service and atmosphere. We had an excellent dinner here of steak (what else), salad and homemade chips with a couple of lovely glasses of Malbec. The service was excellent...and could not be faulted and the servers spoke some English, which helped. Great meal at an excellent price. would fully recommend.More

They butterflied the Bife de Chorizo without asking and absolutely ruined the steak by overcooking it. We ordered it “a punto” or medium and it was over well. This completely dried out the steak. Also, we’ve eaten Marcilla all over Argentina and Latin America and...it’s usually one of our favorite delicacies, but this had such a nasty pungent smell and was so undercooked it was wet and mushy. Worst dinner experience in our whole two week trip to Argentina.More

Great food and good service. I ordered tenderloin and mixed. I don’t eat tomatoes then they asked to change tomatoes in salad to cucumbers or carrots, that was nice service.

We have been in Argentina three weeks and this was by far the best steak we’ve had. The service was top notch. The waiter made you feel special. Highly recommend.

Very tasty salads, with very flavourful tomatoes and onions. All our meats were grilled to medium, as requested; they were juicy and very delicious. A great restaurant with wonderful wait service.

This place has an old world vibe with senior gentlemen waiters who genuinely look like they’re having fun. The place was lively. We order two different steaks that were perfectly cooked, incredibly flavorful and a wonderful representation of premier Argentine beef. I highly recommend this...place for service, food quality, and atmosphere!More

This family-owned parilla is easy walking distance to many of the downtown hotels. We were there early on a Friday evening. The staff was accommodating of our limited Spanish, offering suggestions for wine and dessert. We split an entraña and proveleta entree. Prices are reasonable...and the atmosphere is wonderfully Argentinian.More

Neighborhood feel to this parrilla. Good mix of locals and tourists. Casual busy atmosphere. Hit or miss. Strip steak came out fantastic, super flavorful. Ribeye was overcooked and bland. The price overall was very good. I would give it another shot.

So good we went twice in the 3 days were in Buenos Aries. We spent nearly 3 weeks in Argentina and this was the best steak of the whole holiday. Both times we went the service was spot on, friendly, chatty (between our terrible Spanish...and their much better English) and made to feel very welcome. We didn’t get the name of the young man that served us at dinner, he was fantastic as was Oscar who served us for lunch the day after. Definitely give this restaurant a visit if you’re in the area.More

Great food. The best steak we had in BA and that includes some very well known and expensive other venues. Felt family run and was welcoming even though we spoke no Spanish.

Terrible service. We booked a table and wanted to experience a nice last dinner of our 12 months travelling! I can’t say much about the food because we didn’t even get that far. The service was terrible and basically its clear they don’t like British...people or won’t pay any attention to you unless you speak Spanish. We tried to get served 5 times and every time the waiter came over he’d give us 3 seconds and would walk off! He was incredibly rude and arrogant. We tried ordering food so many times for him to randomly just walk off and serve other people instead. He didn’t have any time for us and just threw the menu at us without any friendliness. We tried to be patient and excused his behaviour as being busy even though there was only 5 tables occupied there and we’re all being seen to. On the last time he came over I just about managed to get my order in and asked for the large gram steak to be looked at with shock for having a large steak as a woman ‘large?!? He said and then walked off to the kitchen. Anyway, my boyfriend couldn’t take the rudeness anymore and so we left. Thankfully we came across an absolute gem of a restaurant with incredible steak and service and so full of people and atmosphere as well down the road - Santos Manjares. Thankfully our last night of travelling wasn’t ruined and saved by the day by this other restaurant!More

Our first time in Argentina we had been staying for 3 nights and found this gem of a Resturant absolutely the best best steak we have ever ever had any where in the word. The Resturant is very family friendly, although little English is spoken...but the service waiters try so hard and are patient in translating and offering advice, it’s not hard to order from the menu or ask questions, no problem is too big for them. The atmosphere is very welcoming and the smells from the kitchen are amazing, portions are quite large but the food..is too good for words. Whilst eating here we met several tourists that had been coming here for years..this place is an absolute must..best steak ever. No need to book, just walk in and a table is available for you. Carlos was our waiter he was so caring, and attentive his service was impeccable we felt truly spoilt having him serve us. If you struggle to find the location, booking an Uber or taxi is the best way to get here no worries or issue. Visit.. and you will not regret itMore

There were 6 of us for dinner. Each person tried something different from the menu with suggestions provided by our incredible server, Eric. Every meat served was cooked to perfection and the service was top notch. Excellent on every point!
