First, we had to send back the beer because it was warm. They didn't have anything cold yet so we just had water. The huge disappointment of the night was the meat. The vacio was pure fat, overcooked, and warm, not hot. The molleja my husband had ordered was dry and warm. We got our food just ten minutes after... More

Great value. Order a main and have access to a free salad bar. Good size serves. Ordered the ribeye and a brochette with my husband. Delicious and well priced. Nice to have a salad bar as well: decent options.

Perfect meat! Especially the 'filet de lomo' is highly advisable! Service is nice but sometimes a bit slow. A huge salad bar is included if you order a main dish. Prices are reasonable. All in all definetly worth a visit!

This restaurant has it all! Great steaks, a salad bar to die for, fabulous desserts and reasonable prices! Not to mention that many of the waitresses speak English or Italian. One of the best lunches in the entire city.

Fantastic steaks, absolutely enormous and perfectly cooked and huge salad bar included in the price. The fries were to die for too. Great wine at a very reasonable price for a restaurant and the service was really friendly and at a good pace. Decor and ambiance was lovely too. Excellent value for money, would definitely return

The food was good and tasty steak. However the service was so slow for every course. Didn't bother ordering dessert as I was concerned it would add another long wait to get some sort of service. Shame as when the food came it was good value.

We had a fabulous dinner here. It was recommended by a tour guide as a place he goes that is not particularly touristy. We made a same day reservation. They have English menus too, which was nice. There were a number of families eating there including kids and seniors. When you order your steak, you get access to a fantastic... More

My friend who is a local Buenos Aires resident took me here for lunch as she thinks it's the best parrilla restaurant around. I had been in Patagonia for a week and had tried several other restaurants in Bariloche, San Martin de los Andes and Villa La Angostura, so had some points of comparison. The atmosphere was nice with a... More

It is a good looking restaurant in Palermo. The portions are large and all main dishes come with free salad bar. The salad bar is excellent with loads of choice!! The steak portions are big enough to order one steak between two, or even three of you are happy to fill up on the salad. Sadly although we ordered fillet... More

We ate at La Escondido three separate times during our visit to BA. It was located around the corner from our apartment rental and recommended by our host. He has excellent taste! The steaks were delicious, served with an extensive salad bar. We finally learned that one steak and a salad bar was plenty for two. Wine was excellent. everything... More

Staying in Palermo

Neighbourhood Profile
Best known as the largest neighbourhood in Buenos Aires, Palermo is divided into different quarters, each with its own unique identity. The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favourite amongst locals. The largest park in the city, the Bosques de Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling. The scene becomes much trendier in Palermo Soho, a hip area known for its cool cafés and unique design stores, filled with shoppers on weekends; and Palermo Hollywood, renowned for the numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which make it the preferred spot for nights out and special occasions.
