We had to grab a quick lunch and were close by (Palermo). The prices were good and the meal was ok. One of my colleguas was Veg so he asked for Pasta. was not good. My meat wasn't the best but I enjoyed it very much.

My girlfriend and I decided to end a great three-day weekend in Buenos Aires at a neighborhood parrilla. After looking at a lot of reviews in Tripadvisor (and elsewhere), we settled on El 22 Parrilla (Palermo) due to the number of positive comments and overall reviews it has received. Taking into account said reviews, it may be that we caught... More

Modern monochrome decor in this slightly self conscious but ultimately excellent experience. Extensive bilingual menu. We opted for a lomo brochette and superb veggies and minced chicken ravioli topped with obviously home made pesto sauce. With mashed pumpkin. Absolutely delicious. The young staff were practising their silver service and English and were keen to offer good service. The place grew... More

We eat at the Parrilla for lunch we had 'parrilla para 2' which is a grill for two. It comes with chorizo, ribs, chicken, steak, pork, liver, chips and more. It was huge and after eating it I never want to eat again. I feel as full as Jeffrey dahmers fridge.

Dinner with colleagues at this lovely upbeat parrilla. Portions were enormous, if that's your thing, but very good quality meet and spot on service even during the busy evening trade. Great ambience through good design, again, if that's your thing.

Good food and wine. Sever us an empanada to start as well as fried cheese with chimichurri. I had the grilled veggies with cheese and a side of fried eggs. They ordered some chorizo sausages and more empanadas. Nice restaurant and easy to converse business.

I liked the parrilla, but thought the morcilla was a bit aimless and the sausage couldn't decide whether it was of the frankfurt or bratwurst variety. Good pricing, nice pickled eggplant, excellent chimchurri.

We went to "El 22 parilla" and had a wonderful time, the food was really good, main dish with a glass of wine and dessert for 140 pesos each, highly recommended if you want to go to a nice place for a reasonable price.

I have just seated there to drink a couple of beers (Patagonia) and chat with some friends. The waiter was very nice and the beer was at the right temperature!

I had been to 22 many many times. I lived just a block away. Nice place for lunch or dinner, alone or with friends. Service is good and you get 10% off if you pay in cash.

Staying in Palermo

Neighbourhood Profile
Best known as the largest neighbourhood in Buenos Aires, Palermo is divided into different quarters, each with its own unique identity. The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favourite amongst locals. The largest park in the city, the Bosques de Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling. The scene becomes much trendier in Palermo Soho, a hip area known for its cool cafés and unique design stores, filled with shoppers on weekends; and Palermo Hollywood, renowned for the numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which make it the preferred spot for nights out and special occasions.
