Great food, great service and great prices! love this restaurant! Try the paste and the meat... fish is good as well. They have a wide menu, been there a couple of times and even the vegetarian and "light" options are very very good!

Stopped by for quick lunch near our hotel. If you don't speak Spanish you won't get any help translating the menu from the staff. Items are print translated, but may not be what you'd expect the to be. We should have looked at food at other table and point to what we wanted. It would have been safer and may... More

The couvert was poor, but the main course was not bad. The bathroom was really dirty. You can eat in better places with the same price.

I ate at the Niza several times. It is reasonably priced. Service and food are both good. Although it isn't a "stand out" it is a good basic restaurant.

Good quantity. Bread is great. Be careful with appetizers as tyou will not have enough appetite left for your main course. Good business environment. Service is a little slow, prices are low and food is generally okay. Pizza has alot of cheese on it, so if you are lactose intolerant, exercise caution. I had the salmon dish and it was... More

I speak Spanish, but the Executive Menu was handwritten and difficult to decipher. I had to all the waiter several questions. Nevertheless, he managed to bring us several things wrong. The food was a bit below average. The best part was the free wifi, but since my apartment is across the street it is not worth it. Eat at the... More

On a Sunday by 11am. The only place open to avoid an overpriced ARS 140 p/p breakfast at Sheraton, found this bar that charged ARS 100 per 2 coffees and 2 ham and cheese sandwiches. Ok and fair. News and wifi for free

Walking in the Retiro region I found this restaurant and stopped by. I asked for the drinks menu and the waiter didn't bring it, just told the prices. Since I was going to have dinner there, I asked for a 3/4 Quilmes and it was 70 pesos, but I paid for it. The next day I thought that it was... More

Staying in Retiro

Neighbourhood Profile
Retiro
Exquisite palaces and luxurious apartment buildings combine with art galleries and exclusive boutiques to make Retiro the perfect spot for those who enjoy sophistication. However, the non-stop foot traffic to and from Retiro train and bus terminals, accompanied by the myriad of trucks leaving and arriving at the port, mean this neighbourhood is never truly at rest. One minute you are walking down a street dotted with ornate mansions and luxurious shop windows and the next you find yourself surrounded by a sea of people racing to catch their train or bus. It is this juxtaposition of never-ending comings and goings and quiet, elegant luxury that defines Retiro, as well as Buenos Aires, a city where sharp contrasts are all around.
