The advantage of living in Palermo is you come across various types of restaurant most of them good and live up to their reputation and some, like the one we went to just not customer centric. Ordered for some fried chicken for starters. After much delay got the food and the moment i cut open the chicken i could see... More

We stopped by for lunch and thought of a swift serving as there were few guests. We waited for more than half a hour for the food. The staff was unaware of the guests, and didn't care. The food was tasteless, and cold.

This restaurant has a great menu, with dishes from all over south America, the caribean and Mexico. Lots of fish and seafood! The seafood was amazing but the service was incredibly slow. We waited one and a half hours for our food!

We ordered the food and it took more then one hour and a half to get to our table. By then the food was raw and the waiters gave us a bad assistance.

The food was good, the drinks were right and the price is right. The night that we ate there they had a terrific jazz combo playing and the sax player's mother was dining at the next table. The place is quite nice and very friendly. I would definitely go here again. Final note: Remember that local people eat late (8p.m.... More

We've been in Palermo Hollywood for over a month and have dined at Montego Bay three times. Portions are easily split and the food has been consistently good. As in all Argentinian restaurants, nothing happens very fast, and the last experience we did wait over an hour for our Feijoada, with no explanation. The waitress, however, did bring us a... More

We werent convinced by the look of the place but it was fantastic food. Amazing mussels, lots of them too, just for starters. Our Spanish is next to non existent and the waiter patiently explained the bits that werent already explained on the menu. Chilled out and easy going, only complaint was that we were really thirst on arrival and... More

We have stayed in Palermo for 5 months this year and have consistently had great experiences.both with the food and the service. I'm sad to see that people had such bad experiences, but in all fairness I have to say we always ask for Marcello, because he gave us great service on our fist visit and we haven not had... More

The service is nonexistent, you can wait 30 min for a drink. The Jerk Chicken was ok but not jerk chicken at all, sweet and no spice. If you are looking for good food and service keep looking, I wish I did

Staying in Palermo

Neighbourhood Profile
Best known as the largest neighbourhood in Buenos Aires, Palermo is divided into different quarters, each with its own unique identity. The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favourite amongst locals. The largest park in the city, the Bosques de Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling. The scene becomes much trendier in Palermo Soho, a hip area known for its cool cafés and unique design stores, filled with shoppers on weekends; and Palermo Hollywood, renowned for the numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which make it the preferred spot for nights out and special occasions.
