We had dinner and the meat wasn't so good. Also prices are a bit high for what you get. there are plenty of other great restaurants in palermo, would not recommend.

The food was okay, but a bit expensive. What I really loved was the service. The waiter was very friendly and did a good job. The wines are very good too, but that's normal in Argentina ;-)

Walked by this restaurant when looking for a place to eat. It was early by Buenos Aires standards (around 9.30pm) so the place was fairly empty but we liked the look of the menu so went in. The staff was friendly and helpful and after our initial attempts in Spanish we were assigned a waiter who spoke English very well.... More

This place was directly opposite our hotel and busy so we thought we would give it a go not having read any reviews about it. Worst idea we have had for the entirety of our ten week trip. I ordered the ojo de lomo and it was extremely tough and tasteless. Left half of it because my jaw got tired... More

I actually wanted to like this place as the reviews seemed quite harsh and the waiting staff were friendly, with a pleasant setting. However the food really let everything down. I had two really ordinary pork dishes, in fact the main was awful. I love ribs so thought I'd see how they do them in such a famously meat-loving city,... More

I ordered the most expensive steak on the menu and it was terrible, Chewy and with no flavour. the frites were soggy and then they forced me to pay service on top. A really bad place.

Last time I was there the food was not great but passable. This time, worse than bad: I ordered "vacio" which is a flank steak cut, always stringy, but this one was painful to chew. The so-called grilled vegs were no such thing. What they seem to do is cook them in advance (boiled, it seems) then put them on... More

Friendly atmosphere and attractive decoration. We had a leisurely lunch here. We both had pasta and a bottle of wine. The lamb and mushroom pasta dish was particularly good. It was a simple meal, well cooked and the service was good. We felt it was great value for money and plan to go back.

Overcooked steak!!! Capital crime in this city. To their credit they took it back and tried again, with better results. However, the meat was tough: another capital crime here. Do not ask for the grilled vegs, they are a disaster.

We had our first "Argentinean Steak" in this restaurant. It's located in Palermo and not too far from the hotel we stayed. The restaurant had a nice atmosphere and decoration but the staff couldn't speak English and not very helpful at all. The steak was on average and didn't meet our expectations. We found a lot more nicer restaurants in... More

Staying in Palermo

Neighbourhood Profile
Palermo
Best known as the largest neighbourhood in Buenos Aires, Palermo is divided into different quarters, each with its own unique identity. The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favourite amongst locals. The largest park in the city, the Bosques de Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling. The scene becomes much trendier in Palermo Soho, a hip area known for its cool cafés and unique design stores, filled with shoppers on weekends; and Palermo Hollywood, renowned for the numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which make it the preferred spot for nights out and special occasions.
