With a friend we had dinner. We ordered a tortilla con mariscos [tortilla with seafood] and a cazuela de "pulpo espanol de primera" ["Premier spanish octopus" casserole]. The tortilla was OK, though a bit too heavy. But the casserole was a scam; one half the octopus there either was not octopus, or was badly cooked. It reminded me of cooked... More

Sunday 27th. for late lunch. Terrible tortilla, tasteless. "Abundante" fried fish with patatoes on the side was anyhting but that. Waitress tried her best. For what it is and compared to other similar restaurants, expensive.

I was so exited to find a restaurant in the neighborhood I was staying in . We ordered the largest plates out of their selection on their menu- the plates came in and I thought it was a joke , it was terribly small with bad quality fish- there was one waiter for 30 tables and he was so rude-... We had seafood here: Seafood Stew and Calamari. They were good and affordably priced. If you are searching for an alternative to steak then I recommend the seafood stew. The service here was also good.

Not a bad restaurant in a nice area: Palermo. The menu is good and fairly extensive, and the restaurant itself is pleasant with good, quick service. We went on a Sunday night, and it didn't seem to get busy until around 9/10pm (maybe this is normal for BA!), so just be aware of this. All in all, a good price... More

Our Hotel reception again hit it on the head with its recommendation of Bar La Robla. We arrived early and had wonderful service from beginning to end. A real experience of not only the food, wine and service but to see the restaurant fill up over the 2 hours we were there with locals was good testement that we had... More

Excellent Spanish food but a little different from the dark tapas bars of Spain. This place is always crowded and lively and the food is great.

Neighbourhood Profile
Best known as the largest neighbourhood in Buenos Aires, Palermo is divided into different quarters, each with its own unique identity. The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favourite amongst locals. The largest park in the city, the Bosques de Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling. The scene becomes much trendier in Palermo Soho, a hip area known for its cool cafés and unique design stores, filled with shoppers on weekends; and Palermo Hollywood, renowned for the numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which make it the preferred spot for nights out and special occasions.
