Very comfortable cafe/bar in the back of the Bookstore, which is cool in itself. I love to go here to read and to get work done. The English breakfast is my favorite. Their scones are perfect. Not sure about the other non-breakfast items though. The chicken sandwich was heavily sauced and the bread was too soft for the weight of... More

Palermo has wonderful cafes, and Libros Del Pasaje in no exception. Nestled behind the tall bookshelves is a room with many tables and great natural light that's perfect for a coffee and a book or lunch and studying. Lately, they've been having wifi issues that forced me to take my business elsewhere since I often work there, but I am... More

Went there for lunch twice during a trip to BA during their summer. Hearty sandwiches and salads with a gourmet twist really stand out, as do the yummy cakes and pastries. A must stop while in Palermo! Open almost all the time also! Highly recommend it.

The title of this review tells you everythig you need to know. The combination of those 3 cactors are enough to explain why this is a very good place to visit and enjoy a quiet time. Specially if you previously spent some time in a shopping rush around the trendy neighbourhood.

Love this bookstore with a cafe and comfortable chairs scattered around. Free wifi. I enjoyed an afternoon and two espressos reading on my iPad.

We needed a break from the heat outside and walked into this little gem and stayed and had a cup of tea and a dessert. It's a very calm and relaxing cafe. They serve food, wine, beer, tea, desserts, and water. There are not that many seats, it seems like a local place. There's people reading, studying, and many are... More

Staying in Palermo

Neighbourhood Profile
Best known as the largest neighbourhood in Buenos Aires, Palermo is divided into different quarters, each with its own unique identity. The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favourite amongst locals. The largest park in the city, the Bosques de Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling. The scene becomes much trendier in Palermo Soho, a hip area known for its cool cafés and unique design stores, filled with shoppers on weekends; and Palermo Hollywood, renowned for the numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which make it the preferred spot for nights out and special occasions.
