I'm often accused by friends and family of being highly critical of restaurant and food - usually my fiance says my cooking is on par or better (it's not!), but my fiance actually closed his eyes while eating some of the courses and suffice to say he's never done that before in any restaurant or my meals! We wouldn't called... More

To celebrate a big anniversary we're on a foodie trip across South America, eating at the best restaurants in Brazil, Uruguay, Argentina, Chile and Peru. I Latina was just amazing - interesting, flavourful highly complex food that seemed deceptively simple. All the staff were very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful - even emailed us tips on where to eat and drink... More

Beautiful space, personalised, smiling, informative service (thank you Freddy!). The food is a journey through Latin America. It's inventive using traditional ingredients. The presentation is modern and very pretty. Every course was fantastic. The Ecuadorean chocolate truffle with sea salt and olive oil was possibly one of the best desserts I've ever had! The wines are really well paired and... More

My wife and I recently had the great pleasure of experiencing the delightful tasting menu at I Latina. The restaurant is situated a short taxi ride from the city centre near Palermo. The restaurant is very tastefully decorated and furnished. Each of the seven courses were truly exceptional and the wine we shared was equally devine. It was great to... More

The architectural structure of the location (open kitchen) is very nice; furniture (eg lamps, pictures) well-finished. The elegant and charming style seems to be in another era. Atmosphere is relaxed and pleasant. Waiters, young but well prepared, describe dishes and wines with care and passion, not forgetting to mention the origin. The food experience is a 7 courses menu plus... More

Everything about this place is special and works very well. Tasting menu is outstanding with new and very interesting tastes throughout. Wine pairing was again good, varied and interesting. The people are welcoming, friendly, knowledgeable and extremely well trained. Nothing is too much trouble even when my wife need to substitute a couple of dishes! An unusual and great place... More

The food was sophisticated and the service pleasant, A very nice experience. It is a fixed price menu with few choices, but the food was up to expectations. Expensive but worth it.

From beginning to end, the dinner in I Latina was just spectacular. The service was extremely attentive and the wine selection to go with the dinner: Impeccable! I highly recommend this experience to everyone who is tired of the good steaks ;-) and Malbec in Buenos Aires.

Booked 2 weeks in advance by email on recommendation of a friend. They remind you 48 hours in advance by email to reconfirm otherwise booking cancelled. Lovely building from outside and man came out and welcomed us by name. Very cool atmosphere - young and vibrant decor and atmosphere. You can only have 7 course tasting menu of different foods... We had a great dinner at I Latina and really enjoyed the flavors from different regions / countries. Service was friendly and good without being stuffy and formal. The setting was wonderful in this old mansion in a somewhat nondescript neighborhood. It was our second favorite meal in BA only because we are trending more towards casual versus tasting menus...
