Expectations from the moment we entered. We were greeted by Carla and served well from start to finish. Azafran's food is contemporary and very well presented. My wife and I and a couple of friends chose the 4-step menu, two of which were wine paired....Very tasty dishes and special attention to the Tomatican, a tribute to tomatoes, which was the best experience and food. We also paired it with a champagne, a white wine, a red wine and a port. Very good! Carla, thank you for your service and thank you for making our experience betterMore

We were able to secure a late reservation to this popular restaurant while in Mendoza. When we walked in we were promptly greeted and shown to our table. The dinner started off quite great and I believe it was because the manager was in attendance...and made sure everything was perfect. The dishes weren't always explained, but we knew what we were eating given the menu we received upon arrival. I had no issues with the food and it was great, however the issues that arose once the manager had left for the night (I'm assuming as we no longer saw him), were quite abysmal. Service came to a halt. Thankfully we were on our last course which was dessert, but I kid you not, it was like the staff left the restaurant. The restaurant had cleared out quite a bit by this point, but we waited for almost 40+ minutes for our next course and when it didn't arrive, we ended up having to flag someone down to ask what happened. The person went to the back and no one ever came back to help us. after waiting another 20-25 minutes, we ended up flagging someone else down and asking for our bill and that's when our waiter showed back up. He presented us with the bill and there was no apology or explanation as to what happened to our dessert courses? Did they run out of dessert or what happened? Hence, we missed a course and petit fours, but ended up paying full price as we didn't want to argue. I doubt this would've happened had the manager been present because when he was, things went smoothly. It pains me to write a review like this, but if you're thinking about dining here, perhaps choose one of their earlier reservations so you don't end up in a situation like us.More

We had a 7 PM reservation but our wine tour ran late. We called to try to bump it back but it was sold out. We were disappointed because there was a $75 USD non refundable fee to hold our spot. When we got back...from our wine tasting, my fiancé walked to the restaurant and again pleaded our case. They were kind enough to squeeze us in for a 10 PM sitting. I’m so glad we made it. This was one of the best meals we had. This felt like a true Michelin restaurant. We went to 2 others in Mendoza and our experience was just blah. This place was amazing. They were also great about accommodating food allergies which some of us in our group have.More

Enjoyed Christmas Day dinner here and unlike other restaurants in Mendoza, they didn’t jack up their prices. Instead they offered their usual menu with extremely fair pricing. Charming restaurant, excellent service & cuisine.

An absolute must go to! We went on 12/26. The food alone is worthy of a five-star rating, but what truly sets this place apart is the extraordinary sommelier. His ability to pair wines based on our specific taste preferences and dishes was impeccable. My...husband and I opted for different tasting menus, and each dish was a work of art. The hidden location adds to the allure, and the decor is simply elegant. Whenever I visit Mendoza, This place is a must-visit, and their accommodation for reservations is greatly appreciated. It’s a culinary experience that leaves a lasting impression. A definite recommendation for those seeking exquisite cuisine and impeccable service.More

We debated if the Azafran Experience tasting menu would be worth it and WOW. The food was excellent, each dish had robust flavors from the first bite of the goat cheese macaron to the last dessert. The team was incredibly kind and helpful. The wine...pairings brought out some things I normally wouldn’t go for, but each was done with precision and care and got some new favorites on my list. Not to mention lots of wine for the $$ which is always nice. I can see why they’re known as the best restaurant in Mendoza.More

This is highlighted as one of the top restaurants in Mendoza and that title isn’t wrong. The food is amazing here and I highly recommend the wine parings. The reason this got a 4 and not a 5 is the pace of service was way...too fast. After being in Argentina for over a week we enjoy the slowed down service where we can sit and enjoy our meal. This felt like American style service where the moment you put down your fork they are picking up your plate. It really didn’t allow us to fully enjoy the meal the way it should be enjoyed. I would recommend this to anyone going to Mendoza but just know you’ll be in and out in about an hour when I would have preferred a two hour meal with the multiple courses and wine pairings.More

I had seen this venue on Instagram and decided to try it. From the warm welcome at a discrete door into the tastefully decorated restaurant it felt great and I had only just walked in. We were seated without a fuss and offered a choice...of tables for 2. ( restaurant filled up later) Our waiter was bi lingual, patients and discrete explaining dishes as we went. His uniform a hint of Indian style. Each dish built on the last one with many amazing experiences that stopped conversations just to reflect on what you had just experienced. The wines just perfect with each dish. This would be a go back to venue as the seasons change and the chefs experiment more. An experience to savour.More

We had the four course menu and were blown away by the experience. The food was incredible and the setting was beautiful. Staff were extremely attentive and helpful, explaining the menu to us (in English which we really appreciated given our poor standard of Spanish!)....They recommended a great wine to go along with the meal.
