Good food, great service, quiet atmosphere. We very much enjoyed our night eating here and the people we met over dinner.

Looked carefully. The beams were made from dried cactus trunk while the columns were carved from an entire tree. The restaurant has the best lomo (beef tenderloin) simmered with Malbec. After a day of rough driving on Rt 40, it's a contrast of the hectic day.

Spectacular this restaurant, we ordered locro, empanadas, goat, fully preparing gourmet, in a remote location, two hours of Cafayate. Attention is also excellent. It is an old and super well preserved stay. I recommend it. It has a fantastic wine menu. The courtyard is also beautiful.

On your drive along the RN40 from Cafayate to Cachi there is so much nature and incredible sights to see. Then there is the Hacienda de Molinos! Such a contrast to the rugged, breathtaking lanscape and rough nature. Hacienda de Molinos is an oasis in the midst of this spectacular road. The restaurant (and hotel) is set in an old... More

Molinos es un lugar chiquito y divino en el medio de la nada. Vale la pena pasar la noche en Hacienda de Molinos, un lugar que te remonta a otros tiempos. El patio central es de suenios. La vista de la pileta es divina!. Amazing place, right across the street from the beautiful and old church in Molinos. Walking the... More

We stopped here en route from Cafayate to Cachi for a bite to eat, the courtyard is charming with a huge tree for shade, bright flowers and the building is a fine example of colonial architecture. We ordered two main course which were both big portions and very delicious. The waiting staff were fantastic and the menu had translations into... More

Molinos and the Hacienda are located about a kilometer off the main road--not exactly a highway--from Cachi. This is simply a wonderfully clean, white little town and the Hacienda de Molinos is its most outstanding feature. We stopped here for an unplanned lunch and were simply surprised by the beautiful setting featuring a gigantic, aged tree providing shade for the... More
