We were in for some Italian food this evening and went to Giuseppe to look whether a table was available. It was busy, but if we’d wait for 15 minutes, we could be seated. I noticed a ‘special’ ravioli on the menu, which was not...too expensive. It looked good, so I’d decided I go for this. Considering that the ravioli of my girlfriend was two times as cheap, I should have been warned. The plate I’ve received was sufficient to feed three persons. It was good, it was what I asked for, but it was way too much for a normal person (however, I’m not that big so what do I know). I ended up eating approximately 70%, which was sort of an achievement (except for my stomach I guess). I hate food being thrown away, so that felt like a waste. Overall we were positive about this place. The food was good, the service attentive. Just make sure that the portion is suited for your appetite.More

We had a great dinner at Giuseppe! Due to the big variety of fresh home made pasta (about 8 types filled ones like ravioli, tortellini plus spaghetti and tagliatelle) and the fact you could choose from about 20 different sauces for the pasta it took...us some time to make a choice for food. The waitress was very patient with us 😃 We had as a starter provolone cheese with special tomato sauce, which came after a nice amuse geule (roasted bread with pickled vegetables) my girlfriend had cannelloni (made of crepe which was unfortunately not clearly mentioned in the menu) with a creamy sauce gratinated with a load of cheese and I had a nice spicy pizza (pizza diavola) which was great since most local food is not really spicy here 👍🏼 As usual in Argentina we could choose between many great wines, which were cheaper here than in other restaurants we were in Puerto Madryn. Also due to the actual exchange rate the food was compatibly cheap. Highly recommend to go here for dinner if you’re looking for great pasta or pizza. Might be good to make a reservation or come early (before 9:00 PM)More

Honestly I’m not quite sure how this restaurant is rated so highly. Split a small pizza and two pastas and the pizza (a margherita) was average at best, and the pastas were both quite bad, and we only tried them and did not eat any...more. I had a ravioli type pasta stuffed with broccoli, which was brown, mushy, flavorless and I thought it would make me sick. The high point was by far the wine. If you want Italian food you are better off making your own from the grocery store.More

When the waitress advises you may have ordered too much you know you are going not a good thing. You never starve in an Italian restaurant and take heed! Inside is a bit quirky but feels family run and as though nothing has changed since...it opened. Lovely home cooked cannelloni and pizzas were and well presented with a large salad. Good prices and no complaints.. we ended up eating here twice!More

Very friendly and helpful staff. The vegetarian lasagne was very tasty and an extremely generous portion. Would definitely recommend.

Thankfully we found a good restaurant in Puerto Madryn! The prawns to start were delicious and the service very friendly. The place got very busy by 9pm on a Friday. The menu has a huge selection of dishes - the prawn pasta and special ravioli...were good, but 1 would definitely have been enough for 2! Lots of people around ordered empanadas and pizzas, which also looked great and seemed to go down a treat. The prawns here were MUCH better than the ones in the seafood beach-front restaurant (which we tried the night before). Also a good selection of wines available. Highly recommended!More

I know, it was my fault try italian food in Patagonia... The food was not bad but considering the good ranking at tripadvisor I definitely was expecting for more. My biggest complain was their service.

Great Italian restaurant! We went there twice- once for the pasta and once for the pizza! I would strongly recommend both and also bruschetta and provolone cheese as starters!

We had a salad: tomato, lettuce and onions that was ok. The spaghetti arrabiata was very good, it seemed the pasta was home made, could have been a bit more hot. The pizza diavolo was ok, a bit to much cheese and the salami was...a bit 'special', not my taste but my husband liked it. You can only pay cash. Good service. Good atmosphere.More

I stop for a quick thing and try a very simple pasta (ravioli with pumpkin) and the simplest sauce on earth (olive oil and sage). Difficult to mess up this dish. Well, ravioli has no taste at all, and they came litterally immersed in oil...with the sage completely burned!! the only taste you could have was the burned one. Really terrible. I'm italian and i don't expect to eat as in italy all around the world, but usually is decent, this one was too bad.More
