The title says it all really...The octopus in my wife's starter was carbonised (i do not exagerate) and i nearly broke a tooth on pistacho nut shell which somehow found its way into my carpaccio (which by the way wasn't a carpaccio since the meat was cooked) When we mentioned this to the waitress she said she'd get back to... Without doubt the best food we had in Argentina. A complex series of dishes - nothing too haute-cuisine, but definitely not the usual meat / pastry / pizza / pasta diet insisted upon elsewhere. Fresh, wonderfully cooked and with an exceptional range of flavours. Showy but not pretentious.

Very good food that sometimes is a bit too complicated (less is more). Dishes are very well executed. Try the deer carpaccio which is excellent. Service is great. The restaurant is beautiful directly located at the lake. Breathtaking view included.

A friend brought us to Lad Balsas on a rainy day, in order to avoid getting stuck in Bariloche. A 1 hour drive totally worth it. The Steak Tartar ("Tartar de Lomo") was world class and the view on the lake even great with rain. It's also a hotel, so go and enjoy staying there during ski season. :)

Delicious meal right at the hotel. A small intimate restaurant with delicious food and wine. The Chef came out and visited the diners.

Amazing stay at this hotel! Staff is very friendly and helpful, view overlooking a lake and snowy mountains is really nice. Place itself is cozy, resembling a cabin. Several places to spend time, other than the room itself: games/TV room, fireplace room, bar, etc. Not to mention the spa, with heated pool that links to an outdoor pool, external hot... More

We tried going to other local restaurants, but we couldn't help but return to this restaurant because it was so unbelievably delicious!!! It's amazing that in such a small restaurant, the quality of food was tremendous! :)

Arrived by boat to the hotel, hungry enough for a high tea treatment. We arrive to the right place because soon enough Jessica, the maitre was recommending a full menu of options. We chose her recommendation of teas/coffees followed by all kinds of very well served sandwiches, local pastrys, etc

Thank TereBA
