Our experience here was disappointing. The portions were very, very small and the only thing Mexican about this food was the decor....no authentic Mexican flavor to be found...never again 😡

Homemade tortillas, as it should be. Fresh salsa and pico de gallo, as it should be. Small menu with big flavors. The owners prepare fresh food daily and it shows. Highly recommended.
Went here on a very quiet Thursday night. We were virtually the only customers in but despite that the service was incredibly slow. However when the food and drinks did arrive all was forgiven. At the end of the evening the owner even offered us a Conalazo and we stayed and chatted until close. Really nice evening.
Whatever you get on the menu is going to be delicious! I shared a plate of fajitas with another man, and the portion was absolutely sufficient for the two of us. Prices are great too.
In my review of the Santa Clara hotel I mention this restaurant. It was only one block North of our hotel. Since we have lived in Ecuador for four years, finding good Mexican food is hard and we were delighted to find this one and try it out. I had enchiladas and Ana Maria had flautas. Both dishes were excellent,... More
Ate here twice, once just the two of us and the second time a group of us from our hostel. Both times the food was delicious and the staff fantastic. We also got a tour of the brand new hotel above and it was beautiful, we wish them all the best!
Four of us went to Pancho Villa for supper. Two had burritos, one had enchiladas and I had the beef fajitas. We had beer or wine which were both very reasonably priced. All of us were very happy with our menu choices. We also had beans, rice, salad and guacamole. My fajitas were very plentiful and filling. My only recommendation... More
We were a bit tired of Ecuadorian food by day 17 so tried this as a change of place. The atmosphere was nice and the food good. We shared mixed fajitas and there was plenty of meat and veggies. The lemonade was good as well.
Savory TexMex food, vegetarian options, outstanding guacamole and the best Margaritas in town. Saul, the owner, and his wife will give you personalized service and will take care that everything goes right. This is a 14 year tradition restaurant and I always return when vist Banos (and the taste remains the same).
