We were extremely surprised and pleased when we walked into this relatively small café in downtown Banos. The Decor was definitely interesting with a Caribbean flavor. We dined on five-star vegan food from a Small menu. The large salad was both artistic and delicious with numerous greens we had never heard of. All organic grown in the backyard of the... More

We were told about this place by some other people staying at our accommodation. It's a very simple cafe with only four items on the menu, but the food is prepared with love and incredibly tasty. My tamales was delicious, and the salad was like no other I've had but went very well with the tamale. My boyfriend had the... More

I love this place! It has delicious food and fresh ingredients grown in the garden out back. The place is beautifully decorated and combined with the music, it creates a relaxing, chill vibe. All the furniture and decorations are recycled material, which I though was pretty cool. I will definitely be going back here.

We ordered the veggie burger fries and the patacones dish with salad. The veggie burger was decent and the fries had nice flavor. But the patacones dish threw me for a loop. The patacones had a weird flavor and the salad was one of the most unusual and untasty that i had ever tasted. it seemed as if a bunch... More

Let's start by saying, this place is not a restaurant they are not there to serve you, you are not their client and the food will not be flawlessly prepared and served. This place breaks all the rules and yet it is so good and worth it. The idea is, this is an exchange this person will make some food... More

The best salad I've had in Ecuador ! The food here is incredible, and is fresh straight from the owners garden. The service certainly isn't conventional, so come with patience and an open mind. It is a very, very laid back atmosphere with a unique feel. The speciality drinks are also great but do taste a bit medicinal (as they... More

Interesting menu, small but creative. Tons of food when you get it. The salads have everything you can imagine in them. The veggie burgers are enormous and come with a massive salad. I had the "green" soup and it was definitely green, and chewy. Good flavor. The most fun aspect of this restaurant is that the staff seems permanently stoned.... More

Vegetarian, conscious, healthy food. The salad is grown there, absolutely crea. This place would be a great find in any country. I am here for a short time but I know I will do most of my meals here. Thank you Sativa - I feel recharged.
