Went since its reputation for history and being the oldest around. The food was terrific. The prime rib sliders a perfect little dinner from the appetizer menu. Great service

Great old and historic building and bar. Lots of old stuff, pictures, old menus and historic events on display along walls and display cases.....but we made the mistake to eat there during the afternoon happy hour. The place was pretty empty on a Tuesday afternoon and the chickenwings were very dry and burned (reheated). Beer is expensive in this town.

Told by my hotel staff that I HAD to visit the Palace while in Prescott because it is the last official saloon in Arizona apparently and I love history. Yes it's pretty cool when you want in and the place and its one half bar and one half eatery. The menu was pretty robust and the server was attentive and... More

From the saloon doors, wood floors, historic bar to old photos - this place has great atmosphere! Sadly, the 'face' of the Palace seemed in a snotty mood and not really fit for public interaction. Sad... I loved the turkey sandwich and was amazed at the stack of sliced turkey, hubby had a burger he said was wonderfully cooked. Would... More

If you are visiting the historic Whiskey Row, visiting the Palace is a place you shouldn't miss. The history of the town is pictured on the walls along with details of how the historic town square was ravished more than once by fire.

Stopped here after reading other tripadvisor reviews. We didn't think the food was spectacular. Building is historic and cool. Tater tots were probably the best thing we ate. $110 for 5 lunch special options and 2 appetizers, no alcohol. Corn chowder wasn't "famous" as they claimed

Pretty amazing to be able to have a beer in a bar that old. They have been able to maintain the character of it. Great ambience!

We stopped for lunch there because it was an historic landmark. What we got was a very good lunch. The corn chowder is not average but great! The restaurant servers were dressed in period clothing and a marshall, with gun on hip, seated us. It was fun and a good place to stop for lunch.

Ok, the place has history, it has been there for awhile and that is about the only thing that is working for it. Sure the staff looks cute wearing old west style etc. the pics on the walls are nice but it is a tourist trap. It has the setup to be cool but when the food sucks and the... More
