I don't know whether we hit them on a bad day, or what, but most of the food was absolutely horrible. The enchiladas weren't bad. Chili rellonos was the worst either of us have ever had and the tamale wasn't much better. The flour &...corn chips were cold and stale. I'll give them this. The ice in my Coke was great. With both of us being born in Arizona, we know our Mexican food pretty well and neither of us understood all the good reviews.More

We went here for lunch today because the reviews were pretty good and it was open. Got two 2-taco specials to go. We were told it would be ready in 15 minutes. After 15 minutes, picked it up and it was barely lukewarm. And looked...like it had been sitting under a heat lamp for awhile, like hours. The rice was chunks of cold clumps. The kindest thing i can say is that the food was unremarkable. The tacos had no flavor. The shells tasted stale. The salsa was labeled Extra Hot but I could have safely fed it to my 1 year old grandson. The refried beans were white and again... no flavor. The texture of the stringy cheese on top was a bit off-putting. If you must have Mexican food, go to any place in Douglas or keep driving to Tucson. You'll be glad you waited. The young ladies were professional and cordial.More

My wife loved their green corn tamales. I had taco and beef enchilada. Greasy. Sauce was nondescript. Chips were not much to talk about. Don't bother unless you like the tamales.More

Haven't visited Safford or this restaurant in years, so glad we chose to dine there. Loved the complimentary chunky salsa with both flour and corn tortilla chips. The spicy carne machaca burro (enchilada style) was muy bueno!!! Great service, confident you won’t find a better...Mexican food experience in Safford.More

Terrible service (our server forgot our Margaritas) and 40 minutes after ordering she tells us they are out of shrimp. Nice, so one order sat for 20 minutes while a new order was prepared. Both were awful. At 6:30 they decide to vacuum the restaurant...with a good 30 to 40 people present. Just avoid. Head over to Pima and check out El Mesquite for the real deal.More

The area has a number of really good Mexican food restaurants and this is one of them. From Safford/Soloman to Miami AZ there are a number of places to hit. Casa Manana should be on the list.

I enjoyed a fulfilling meal with my husband here. The staff was very friendly, the restaurant was decorated for Christmas, and the food portions were large and tasty. Hubby had sizzling grilled fajitas with chicken and I had a green corn tamale. Each came with...beans and rice and the prices were reasonable. Would recommend.More

We stopped here to eat yesterday. It was very busy and the parking lot was packed. It was very average to mediocre on the food. Service was excellent. I had a fried tortilla with “green chili chicken” and cheese. It wasn’t very good. Kind of...like brown gravy with diced chicken and flavorless green flecks. Filling, though, I’ll give them that, and it wasn’t awful.More
