First, the good. The corn appetizer lived up to its billing. Very good. Now the poor. The Smoked Brisket Enchiladas were just plain bad. The meat was tough and tough to find. Way too much breading, not much meat. Just plain bad. I was hoping for more. Did I mention they were tough? The margarita's were tasteless. I had two... More

We arrived at 7:30pm and were seated by 8:30pm, which is what we were quoted. Cucumber lime margaritas and popcorn helped pass the time, and the cornhole and blankets near the heaters kept us warm. Don't pass up the Elote corn. We also split the brisket enchiladas and empanadas and were blown away by the complex flavors. After a week... More

We had been forewarned that Elote Café does not take reservations and that people start lining up as early as 4 PM for the 5 o'clock first seating. We wanted to go there anyway and were very pleasantly surprised to discover that even the wait is a positive experience. Once you reach the front of the line, you are given... More

Get there early at 4:30PM to line up so you can be assured of getting a seat at the 1st seating at 5PM. There are no reservations taken, first come, first served. Elote is only open for Dinner 5PM-9PM, Tuesday-Saturday. Closed on Sunday and Monday. Located next to the Arabella Hotel; Elote operates independently. I recommend the basic house margarita,... Margaritas, empanadas and carne asada were delicious. This was our second trip to Elotes and both times it was terrific. Our waiter was attentive, professional and gave us good recommendations. The pastel de elote for dessert was incredible.

Amazing atmosphere and food. No reservations so you have to wait it out. But they have a bar line that will pour you a fantastic shot of tequila while you wait. Once inside, it goes quickly. The menu is excellent - not too much. The house speciality, a corn dish, is amazing. The corn chips are divine. Each dish we... More

We had the elote corn, lamb shank and chicken enchilada. Food was okay - a bit overrated and overpriced. The drinks were great. The service and bartender were also great. I don't think I'll visit again. But judging by the amount of time people are willing to wait and then wait again in the drink line (such a inefficient process),... More

Elote is a great restaurant. I highly recommend eating here if you are in Sedona. Get the Elote. Do not think twice about it.

To sum this up on our visit at Elote last Friday, phenominal food! Our taste buds can't thank the chef enough for serving us and sharing his culinary skills on the dishes he has on the menu! A must go to anytime you are in Sedona for dinner.

Always a treat. Wonderful sauces with great flavor but not too spicy. Everything is great. Jeff's margarita is to die for. Elote appetizer is terrific. Entrees rock. Sea bass, lamb, pork cheeks etc. Worth the wait.
