We tried to dine at Elote. They don't take reservations and the line ups are horrendous. They would be better off allowing some reservations and not making their patrons wait for an unreasonable amount of time. To me, a two hour wait is unreasonable. Sorry, I don't care how good your food is.

This is the best Mexican style restaurant we've been to for a long time, if not, ever! No reservations, so expect to wait, but it's worth it, a bar to have a drink while you wait. Great food, great tequila choices.

I had leg of lamb. Also super fish tacos. It looked like a wait but they got us in quickly. But they do not take reservations. Nice little outside seating while waiting for a table

If you love to eat great food this is your place. I was here last year and couldn't wait to get back. Try the Elote appetizer. Corn grilled on the cob then cut off, buttered cheesed with Mexican cheeses and served with corn chips for dipping. I also Highly recommend the Sea Bass. Delicious just doesn't say enough about this... More

We went upon being recommended by someone at the visitor center. She was certainly correct. My wife had the lamb and I had the smoked brisket enchiladas. Both were excellent as was the salsa. We struck up a conversation with the folks at the next table. They raved about the place. The husband has even bought the chef's cookbook and... More

To get the detractors out of the way, this place doesn't accept reservations and the wait can easily be anywhere from one to two hours. There is a bar where you can get a tasty margarita and a sitting area outside where you can wait for your table. However, once you get to your table, be prepared for a truly... More

Wowee!! Yummy dinner - got there at 4:30pm on a Saturday and waited in line for the restaurant to open along with a few 50 or so other patrons! Enjoyed their blood orange margarita, green chile tacos, elote dip, and brisket enchiladas! We're from Texas and this was such a nice twist on Mexican food! Maria was our waitress who... More

Wonderful food, wait staff is fabulous including the bus boy. The wait time can nearly kill you......... be prepared. After checking in to put your name on the dining list you can join another line to order up cocktails; excellent margaritas, then hope you can find space outside to wait for your table. During the seek we experienced 30 minutes;... More
