We stopped here for a late dinner and were pleasantly surprised with the quality of food and service (I hate it when restaurants slack in service right before close). The fajitas were very good and a huge portion. Save room for dessert. The churros were the highlight of the meal!

Very good enchilada plate for about $15 and fahitas for $18 our total would have been about $40 for a good and filling dinner had we not tried the barking tried the barking frog margarita another good choice at $8 a piece. They have a patio as well as at least two separate indoor spaces. Service was prompt and friendly... More

Ate here on a Sunday while on vacation. Tried their appetizer sampler, which included frog legs & cactus fries! Not something you see every day. Also have tacos with interesting meats. Decor is rustic with large old wooden doors. Would eat here again. Nice place!

First of all, the decor and ambiance is really nice...feels authentic Mexican. Margaritas were delish! Chicken Enchiladas were stuffed full and the sauce was yummy. Husband ordered the Carnitas and said it was some of the best he's ever had. Our server, Fermin, was awesome....attentive, respectful, friendly, and helped us make our choices! Try the cactus fries, they were pretty... More

while the food all around was at least good to very good, I found the service to be somewhat slow. Maybe because it was at the end of a Sunday night, Cocktails were fantastic. My fish tacos better than most restaurants but not as good as I can make myself

We brought our 11 year old daughter with us for happy hour (from 3-6pm) after our Pink Jeep Tour and we were pleasantly surprised with the small plate offerings at the bar. Can't speak to the general menu, but if you just want something light to eat or a small portion, recommend coming for happy hour and ordering a couple... More

Someone recommended this place to us and we were very disappointed? The food was just mediocre. One of us had the chicken fajitas and it was not even a full chicken breast served with the veggies. Lucky to get one portion from it. There were 4 in our party and everyone agreed this was not a good place to eat.

If you enjoy trying food from the local area, check this one out--cactus fries! Battered fried fries made from a cactus reminded us of eating green tomatoes. The menu had a wide variety of food items for any taste. It's worth checking out.

Came to Barking Frog on a recommendation. Cute restaurant with really nice atmosphere - many different rooms to be seated in with fireplaces and high ceilings. One dish- grilled chicken green enchiladas was the best I have ever had and I believe I am an expert on this - always order them. Husband had smoked pork enchiladas with red chile... More

We had our dog with us for this trip to Sedona so all our choices needed to include her. We sat on the patio. We were only one of two tables seated outside. In spite of that we were well taken care of. Several of the staff came out to visit with Lindsey, our dog. The service was great. The... More
