Our car was broken down nearby and the garage recommended this restaurant. Oh joy we had the most incredible meal, a good value no choice lunch of ; soup, duck and desert. All cooked perfectly with great service. We felt able to continue totally refreshed. Thank you!

Whenever we go to the beach in La Franqui, we have lunch at this restaurant. Very neat, good food over a simple menu or A la carte. Very friendly staff and owner.

We enjoyed very good service and the evening meal was very enjoyable. The desserts are worth keeping some space in the tummies for. It's worth a visit whilst you stay nearby for a nice change of scenary. hilly roads though.

we came here twice during a long stay in the next village and both times, the old boy in the kitchen marvelled us with his cooking skills. it was a delight on both occasions. food is supposedly regional french cooking with some coastal influences. it was not a fine dining experience per se like the one you'd get at the... What a lovely restaurant. We were there last week and ended up going three times we enjoyed it so much. The waitress was lovely but didn't speak English. But that wasn't a problem as the menu was on the iPad of there's in English! The wines are not expensive unlike some establishments. Now, the food. Brilliant!!! Skilfully prepared as you... More

I hadn't been to this restaurant for over two years and was very excited about visiting again - it has been a highlight in the past. The food is still fantastic, service still friendly and efficient, but the menu has not changed since 2012 and honestly looks very similar to 2011. It still tasted lovely and was beautifully presented but... More

Treilles is a little off the beaten track, but the restaurant is on the main road on the edge of the village, with good car parking. We ate a delicious lunch there, and were surprised by the excellent marshmallows which we had for dessert. The restaurant is run by a retired Michelin starred chef and his son and the food... More

I revisited Claude Giraud for lunnch with friends and was pleased to find that the food was just as good as I remembered! Most of us had the set lunch menu which included a delicious main course of rabbit casserole. The restaurant was full, mostly with locals, one of whom came over and regaled us with Daffodils by William Wordsworth!... More

An out of the way sort of place, and not a lot of choice for the discerning diner. But here you will not be disappointed. It is run by an retired Michelin chef who could not stay away from the action and his son. The location would be fantastic in the summer months but inside in the autumn (when we... More

We went for lunch after a wine-tasting at the Embres-et-Castelmaure cave cooperative. The chef/patron, Claude Giraud (previously awarded a Michelin star for his restaurant in Narbonne) cooks some seriously good food in his out-of-the-way restaurant in Treilles. As a starter, I had the consommé de girolles, mushroom+++ taste with an added twist of tiny cubes of chopped serrano ham in... More
