While on business for two weeks in Sierra Vista, the choice of quality eating establishments was limited. I checked on TripAdvisor for recommendations, and the number one rated restaurant was The German Cafe. Although closed on Sunday and Monday, I went on Tuesday at 5:30 after work. When I arrived, all tables were taken in the small restaurant, except those... More

Genuine German food and warm friendly folks in small but "family" feeling place. Have eaten there several times.

This is a sure visit every time I am in Sierra Vista. The food is amazing, fresh ingredients and a piece of Germany in the Arizona desert! Highly recommend.

Found this place on the last night of a previous trip to Sierra Vista. First day back and brought more people. The onion gravy schnitzel is the best, I could eat it every night. Despite having pictures of beer on the walls, this is a dry establishment. My groups discussion even decided that the food is better without the distraction... More

My husband and I visited on a Saturday night. Three other tables were occupied and had ordered when we were seated (2 waitresses were working so they weren't overworked). We ordered the house special but did not receive any food, nor did any of the other tables. We left without eating after 20+ minutes because it was apparent no one... More

We arrived at 6:00 and weren't served till 7:30. No beer available. The special plate was very good.

We went to the German Cafe for dinner, and at first had a little trouble finding it. Our GPS worked fine, but it's nestled in a building which has a sign on the top that says "Paul's Pub" so we got confused. Once inside we sat immediately (but we ate early). It is cafe in size and decor, and very... More

I had high hopes for this place after reading the online reviews. However, I'm not sure how this place is rated the best restaurant in Sierra Vista. I got the jagerschnitzel with spaetzle. It was just ok and kind of pricey. Maybe the other menu items are better, but I can't recommend this place based off of the meal I... More

Small dining room, but in the German style, if there's room at the table, you join whom ever might be there. Both of the hostesses spoke German - ours was from Bamberg. The food was as good or better than any German food we've had here in the USA. Was as good as many places in Germany. Prices were consistent... More

We checked the reviews for restaurants in the area. We decided to take a chance on the German Café. What a great decision! Food was very tasty. Service was good. We both ordered the sausage sampler. It came with sauerkraut. A couple of pretzels came with each order. We were glad we didn't order more, there was plenty of food.... More
