As we all know in AMERICA we don't have many HOMEMADE restaurants. Real HOMEMADE food and when I find one I have to tell you about it. This little restaurant was full all the time, go early and enjoy every thing on the menu but NOT the potato pancakes (they are gluten free...so if you need a gluten free item,... More

We now understand why this place is so crowded. We had heard people talking about it for a couple of years and finally dropped in for lunch - what a fantastic meal - potato pancakes and sausage sampler!

Due to the number of family & friends I was meeting here, I made reservations. We all had a wonderful time & enjoyed the food. Not sure what happened to my previous profile, so I'm having to update my experience here. I remember my family telling me they enjoyed the food & my friends enjoyed it as well. We have... More

If I could I would give it 6 stars. Potato pancake Ruben with horseradish sauce was awesome. They need to have German beers on tap. Make a reservation in advance. Good service and atmosphere.

We stopped by here on spring break. Make sure you get reservations in advance if travelling as the place is small and fills up fast. I can't say enough about how good the food is. I've visited several Gasthauses in Germany and Austria, and the food here was completely authentic. The service is excellent and the environment is very friendly.... More

The wiener schnitzel is superb, all varieties and other dishes equally inviting. They have a wonderful dark beer available which is a great accompaniment to the German cuisine and the desserts are divine.

I'll admit it, I agreed to dining at this restaurant because I knew the food would be a treat for my husband. I figured at the very least I'd enjoy a good beer! We both ordered the same entree, I think it was the Jagerschnitzel -- creamy mushroom gravy, amazing potatoes and cole slaw (I'm not generally a fan of... More

Went with my husband and in laws. Most of the food was very good and hardy. However, the potato pancakes we ordered took a long time to cook and were quite greasy, heavy, and bland. Also, a few of the sides were overwhelmed with raw onions, spreading the raw onion flavor to any food it touched. Honestly, if it weren't... More
