We go to JB's often. It's a great place to go around mid-day or mid-afternoon, after doing errands or en route home from medical appointments. We are two seniors, one of whom is dealing with a terminal illness and who's appetite varies due to medication side effects. . . . so the variety of selections here are appreciated. We also... More

Good place for quick breakfast or lunch, decent salad bar and fairly typical diner menu. Felt food was above average for this type of restaurant. Will continue to patronize.

Went here tonight as a person I met earlier this week raved about the salad bar and 3 soups. We were ushered by the salad bar with the waitress showing it off to us....Ouch, the 3 soaps had film on them and looked as thick as mud, must have been on the steam table all day, skipped that idea for... The same truck that delivers all that yummy frozen, instant tasteless food, to Coco's stops here also and drops off more of the same. Instead of changing the name they should have changed the menu, and thrown all that frozen instant food stuff in the garbage. No home cooking here more like boot camp cuisine!

On Fridays, there is all you can eat Fish and Shrimp Specials for $9.99. Served with fries and slaw and Texas Toast, these meals are delicious and you won't leave hungry! The fish is breaded White Atlantic Cod, and the shrimp are large and deep fried. If you have enough room, their pies are fresh and scrumptious!

It's nice that they offer a senior discount. The food is decent- nothing more. The servers are very courteous. I have no real complaints but there is nothing to stand out at this restaurant. The salad bar is nice and the soup/salad dinner option included several types of soup.

This restaurant I believe was the former Carrow's. It has only been approximately 6-9 months since it changed hands and management. The change at the top didn't really help the folks at the bottom or the customers. We didn't get any good vibes at all from the service staff and the term "friendliness" was non-existent. The food we ordered/selected was... More

My first two trips there have been terrible. The rib eye steak for breakfast was shoe leather, couldn't even cut it with a knife. Oatmeal came so watery didn't know any oatmeal was in the bowl. I am optimistic they will improve over time.
